Staff are AMAZING, the suites are big and equipped, the place itself is really good.
Location wasnt the best, out of Kyoto area of interest, but there is a bus stop around 2 minutes walk from there.

Reasonable price, spacious room, nice decoration in the corridors. The staff brings breakfast to your room.
Breakfast options were very limited. You pretty much get the same bento box every day, I would suggest to skip breakfast. If your room is located towards the side of the street, you hear the cars and traffic lights the whole night.

The apartment was outstanding with all the equipment and facilities you would want. The staff were instantly available to attend your every requirement and the daily breakfasts were substantial and delicious.
Apart from requesting an additional pillow, nothing.

Traditional Japanese ambience throughout the property and inside the room, spacious room, super clean, great breakfast, very responsive and helpful staff.
This is not really a criticism of the property itself, but at night there might be occasional loud noise from traffic on the main road in the vicinity.

This was an awesome place to stay while we visited Kyoto. The staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room and the gardens were perfect. Loved the fact there was a convenience store next door and we had a great view of Toji temple. We will definitely be staying here again during our next trip to Kyoto.

Great location across from Toji Temple and easy walking distance to the Toji train stop. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were lovely.

We loved staying here. The room was spacious as well as being very clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast delivery each morning. The food was delicious. Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, dressing gowns and slippers were provided. There was also a kitchen area with a kettle and tea bags. We didn't use it, but there was also a washing machine in the bathroom. The hotel has a great rooftop, looking over Toji Temple pagoda, which is really special at night. I'd highly recommend this hotel and the bus stop is just 2 mins away.

Beautiful hotel with traditional vibe. Spacious room, lovely view and - bonus - washing machine as a part of the room.
Sound proofing of the room almost next to non-existing. Also, no curtains/shades to block the daylight.
