Very Good
Friendly owner and spacious room. Great transport connection of train, tram and bus. Some good value local restaurants nearby for steak and sushi.
A little dated decor and beds a bit hard for my preference.

Staff was AMAZING!!! Very helpful and kind. Room was very spacious and comfortable beds. So close to the train station and food is everywhere near by and great! The man who greeted us and runs the place is the best part. He was so helpful and willing to help with anything we had a question for. Would for sure stay again if coming back to Kyoto.
Only downside is your on the main road which can get noisy at night, especially when we heard the chanting monks at 11pm one night but kinda cool to hear.

The owner was very kind and sweet He agreed to keep our luggage for one full day and without expecting any money And the place is very close to bus stop and metro which makes travelling very convenient And it is quite big comparatively to other places at this price

The room was big. 4 large single beds. location was great 1 min walk to MRT. windows were frosted so no view out. No washing machine. Staff at place could not do more for us.. so friendly and helpful! Good budget accommodation in great location too.

Location is good. Close to many sights. There’s a Family Mart down the street and a lot of good restaurants near the property.

Great location, only 3 train stop to downtown to have Ichiran Ramen. Paid carpark is few steps away behind the building. Host is a Korean and patiently speak English to help us. 4 Queen bed in a room, so it's very spacious and big room with microwave, kitchen sink and dining table. Great for 8 to 10people. Happy that it has a lift to level 5 single unit.
Being charge city tax 200Yen per person. This is not being told in advance and it comes as a surprise to me. Went many places but none request for city tax. Toilet a bit small and cold floor. Cold toilet seat without bidet.

The host was wonderfull. Always greeting us kindly with smile and always want to help. In the begining we did not find the hotel so he got on the street to help us find him. Also there are many many great restaurnats very close. Close (3 min on foot) to subway station.

I happened to arrive early and was allowed to check in an hour early. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff or owner was friendly.
The TV channels were in the Japanese language. It would be good to have one or two channels in the English language. The bathroom space was small compared to the room, and there was a space next to it to change clothes.

We enjoyed the dinner at their 2nd level restaurant, the food was excellent and delicious! The waitress was very friendly, even though we couldn't speak Japanese language, they used an Translation App to communicate with us. Clean and big room for the three of us, they changed clean towels daily, very friendly staff. Liked the location, close walk to Restaurants Sushiro/Daiso and Train Station.

The room was big. There is an elevator. It is clean and has all the amenities. The bed was comfy. It is very well located, in a calm area, close to the city center and any places of interest. The subway station was close. However you need to know that you’ll pay a city tax for every night once you arrive at the hotel, it was not clearly stated when I booked it. Otherwise the host was nice.

Convenient location. Friendly host reminds us of Me. Miyagi in Karate kid? bear bus and subway stations, church, post office, convenience store. One bus away from Onsen and bamboo grove. Complete amenities. Highly recommend!!!
