The host was very gracious and wanting to make it comfortable even though we only saw her occasionally. It is a great location. The beds were comfortable.
It wasnt what I expected as it had previously stated that food would be served but we enjoyed our stay. The house is old but it has a nice feel to it and its a great way to experience Kyoto.

Gave a traditional Japanese experience with the ryokan over 100 years old. The owner was super friendly and location was really convenient with Kyomizu Dera Temple, Gion & Pontocho all walking distance.

Host was super helpful and provided anything we asked for and more. We asked for a water heater and cups to make hot water for coffee and he got it immediately. The next day he saw we were using it for coffee and included spoons and sugar! The location is amazing in old Kyoto with tiny streets and near temples.

The location was great, and the owner was really nice.
Sadly I could hear the person that stayed on the room on top of me, was not the worst tho, was still an enjoyable stay.

The gentleman who runs this is very welcoming. They provide a help number for both English and Japanese. The room was super clean and comfortable. 5 minute walk from the Pagoda, a bus stop and a corner store.
I have no complaints. I'd stay here again

The owner is very kind and welcoming. the location is very suggestive and convenient to access every part of Kyoto. 10 minutes to Gion district by walk.
