The hostel was a great deal for the time we stayed. They upgraded our room for free as well. Staff were helpful and friendly, room and bed were clean and comfortable. Location was fantastic.
If you have a lot of luggage the room was stayed in might feel a little small. Not a problem for us.

- Amazing neighborhood. Only a few minutes away from the nearest train station, bus station, and key tourist sites like the shopping streets and Kamo river.
- Cozy and quiet
- Good kitchen and hangout place
- Incomplete amenities like consumables. Business hotels at the similar rates provide night wear.

basically everything. i have never loved a hostel more than this one. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. they kept our luggage secured since we checked in early. also, all the facilities were great. they have washers and dryers available for laundry services which was great. the rooms are really nice and not too small. the location is great, it’s very close to nishiki market and the main street with all the shops and restaurants. you can basically walk to whatever you may need. truly was a great stay, tha place was beautiful. it felt too good to be a hostel.

Great location, decent breakfast although a different variety each day might help. Very clean and the private rooms give the impression you are in hotel that is affordable.
The sandals provided were not comfortable. Breakfast needed some flavour

Very central, close to nishiki market. great ambiance, meeting new people from around the world. clean rooms. compact but has everything. good wifi. great AC kept the room cool during summer month of july.

Perfect stay. The room felt more like a hotel than a hostel. It was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The common areas, kitchen, and lounge were excellent, the staff were friendly, and the check in and check out process was smooth and efficient. Amazing value, especially if you book a private room.

Piece Hostel Sanjo is a good choice for travelers looking to stay in the heart of Kyoto. The location is excellent, within walking distance of shopping areas, restaurants, public transportation, and many popular attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city.
The hostel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are well-maintained and offer good value for money.
Overall, a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it to travelers who prioritize a great location and an affordable stay in Kyoto.
