It's a beautiful facility with so many lovely places to hang out.
I was in a dorm. Though there were 10 of us in the room, the beds were big and comfortable. The shared kitchen is huge. Everything is very clean.
For a hostel it's a bit pricy, but there are so many extras. Towels, lounges, the aforementioned kitchen. Worth the price.
It seems big groups traveling together stay here, so expect to occasionally be overwhelmed by lots of people. You might be alone in the kitchen, and suddenly 20 high school students, or a group of 10, very loud, tourists swarm the facilities.

This is one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever set foot in- beautiful facility with modern architecture. Great communal kitchen & dining area where several people can cook at once, well structured and organized. Roof top and basement bar and restaurant with nice ambiance. We hung out a few times to hear professional jazz artists. Our snug double room was practical - separate toilet and shower. Awesome location close to a range of excellent restaurants, boutiques & malls-easy access from subway.
Splitting hairs but would have loved low lamps at bedside to read & relax.

The location is fantastic, the entire place looks very sleek and sophisticated. The staff are very kind.
I really liked the kitchen and the lockers, and the laundry was very easy to use.
I guess that's Kyoto but the value of what we got vs the price was a bit disappointing compared to other places we visited. We had bunk beds and the room was very small. Also the separate showers and toilets bothered us more than we thought.

I got a private room with bathroom, so that was my experience and where I'm coming from. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC and mini fridge worked great. I left my key in my room on accident, twice (maybe three times...) and staff was very helpful and accommodating helping me out. Everyone was friendly. They provided free umbrellas while it was pouring outside. There is a washer and dryer on the bottom floor. Facilities were clean and quite nice looking. I didn't spend any time in the common area, but it looked appealing and comfortable. This is a great hostel and I would come back in a heart beat.
There really wasn't anything to complain about. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The rooms were cute and beds comfy, the showers and bathrooms were very clean, the whole hostel was pretty and had many amenities. I felt safe and comfortable there. Loved it

The location was close to the Kimono Tea Ceremony we attended, it was quiet and easy to find, and the staff were very nice. They were able to upgrade our room to a private bathroom; we requested because we were celebrating our anniversary!
The bed had a few crumbs and hair in the bed when we arrived, but because we arrived late to the hotel, and we were exhausted so we cleaned the bed off and sprayed with Lysol.

The family room was much larger than we expected and the beds were very comfortable. The property was beautiful as well! Breakfasts were quite enjoyable.

I wish an option to choose for a bigger room for 4 can be displayed, and navigate easily, as when I am booking the room I jave no idea what type of "4 person room" I would get
