Chose this hotel as it is near to train station & convenience stores. Walking distance from Family Mart and 7-Eleven.
From Kyoto Station, you will need to change station with only 2 stops to reach this hotel. For the price, the size of the room is quite big. We brought 2 large luggages and 1 cabin bag.
The room is cleaned & comfortable.
The iron is on request basis but not a major concern.

A nice, clean hotel with very helpful staff. They provide fresh towels and drinking bottle water outside the door every day, even when we put up the "Do Not Disturb" sigh. We love it
It's about 1 15-20 minute walk to the busy Shijo-Kawaramachi area, which is a little bit far.

Friendly stuff, clean, good breakfast and convenient location to walk and travel to all places.
We stayed 5 nights and you get same 5 options breakfast all western like eggs and sandwiches so was kind of boring after 3 days but all delicious food anyway

A great place – the staff is beyond praise, always eager to help. The location is fantastic, very convenient for getting around the city. The room is very spacious, and most importantly - a full-size bathroom.

Location was fabulous with bus stop, subway and train nearby. Lots of excellent dining options close by. Service was extraordinary! I left a broken bead off an earring bwhind in the bathroom and after checkout I messaged the hotel. Asame the receptionist tracked it down and arranged for it to be courier delivered to my future hotel!! This exceeded all expectations!
Newly remodeled, sleek decor, elegant. The location was excellent. Complimentary welcome drinks in the lounge:).

The bathroom at the room we had was phenomenal. It was a regular sized bathroom like at a home, but what I liked especially was the tub was two steps - it's perfect! Water filled up quickly and the size was cozy. It was very clean and I was very comfortable lying down in it. Everything else was average and typical, but no complaints!
I did not like that the room had no outlets near the bed -- well, that might be our problem; we were 3 people with 2 devices per person minimum. We had to unplug the humidifier to make room to charge one person's devices.

The hotel is in a very central location, close to everything. The service was excellent, and my stay was very enjoyable. It was totally worth the price.
Overall, it’s a very good hotel, but there is room for improvement in cleanliness. Some of the furniture had accumulated dust, and the duvet fillings appeared slightly yellowed

Located in great place, not far from Kyoto Station and even could be reached by strolling about 30 minutes. Very friendly staff out there and hotel’s reception provides welcome drink in a bar. Good breakfast menu is provide. I really felt in love with Kyoto and this hotel did my staying in the city convenient. There are variety of grocery shops, eating points as well. My recommendation to the next travellers.

The rooms are more western spacious, they rotated to clean towels and trash each day, and the area is very tourist heavy so expect more English. Good location to stations, convenience stores, restaurants, and the Market.
Very tourist heavy area. Because of that, there are a lot of tourist traps and higher prices. The nights are busy and there is a lot to do, but if you’re looking for more authentic Japan, this wouldn’t be the place to be.

Very nice facilities, excellent staff. Very good breakfast options, made a la carte, when you order rather than a generic buffet.
It's a bit of a walk from the subway station in the summer heat with luggage. Probably not an issue outside the summer months.
