Great place. Allowed us to check in early as well. Great hosts who were very helpful. Only place to have tea, coffee and milk as well. We loved the location. Easy walk to town for us.

The property was close to the bus stop and train stations so easily accessible to shopping centres. The property it self had all amenities needed (coffee, tea, stove and etc), well insulated, comfy beds and drying rack so easy to do laundry. The hosts were lovely, changing our towels and removed rubbish mid stay, and the English directions attached to each device was so convenient.

The apartment is very nice and was quite comfortable for our stay. There is a laundromat 10m from the door, which was very handy.
The location is in more of a residential area, so there are only a few restaurants near the apartment. However, those were delicious!

maybe the best apprtment i had in my trip to japan. everything was clean and worked very good. the bathroom was amazing and the living area was big and had really goos t.v
it is little far away from the train station and metro so you need to walk litte. but the nigherhood really nice and quiet.

The location was great for using bus transport to get everywhere. A long walk with suitcases to the place initially but once we worked out the buses it was great. I suggest a taxi on the first day would have been a better choice for us. If you are travelling light you wouldn't need this. The proximity to supermarkets and using buses allowed for so much sightseeing and getting around was a breeze. Just make sure you have some coins on you for the bus fare or get tourist travel cards for subway and buses at the station. Really enjoyed having a washing machine and the opportunity to experience sleeping on the futons too.

The house had everything you could possibly need and the owner’s mother greeted us with so much hospitality and warmth. We loved sleeping in the tatami room. The neighborhood is very nice and there are easy public transport connections to get anywhere with no problem.

This was probably our favorite accommodation in a 5-city, 2-week trip throughout Japan! Kanesuke Kyoto is located on a quiet residential street, about 10 minutes from the Omiya Station. The house was spacious for our group of 4 people with all the essentials ( clean and modern kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and bedrooms) and more!
Our 2 favorite elements of the house were the automated bathtub and the tatami mat room.
1. After long days exploring Kyoto, pressing a button and soaking in a long and deep bathtub was the best way to end the day. I'm 6 foot and could comfortably stretch out my legs in the tub and have my entire body covered by the water, which is rare even for American bathtub standards.
2. We chose Kanesuke Kyoto for its tatami room and to experience a traditional Japanese house, which did not disappoint! The futons were clean and incredibly comfortable. The multilayers of blankets were so soft that I wanted to buy them for myself. One of the guests said the futon and tatami room was the best sleep experience in months.
Recommendation: Try the Spice Curry MUJARA across the street and Maruki Bakery!! Both are popular, local establishments beloved for their excellent product.

The hotel was in a good spot to walk to many different restaurants and shops. It was very clean and cozy. It was also super helpful to be able to do our laundry during our stay. Masato was very helpful every step of the way and provided some great recommendations for places to eat. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Kyoto.
