Cute and spacious room with a private garden and comfy bed. They let me check in several out early!
Too easy to hear your neighbors. If you’re on the first floor you can hear people walking upstairs, using the elevator, and walking through the lobby. Limited amenities and an early check out (10 am). Not close to any train/subway stations. I wouldn’t stay here again for what I’m looking for.

Me and my friends decided to book this hotel for our First visit to Kyoto. The hotel was in a very nice neighborhood and we really enjoyed the location. The staff was very welcoming and they even helped us finding good restaurants nearby.
The room was large enough for the there of us and very quiet.

It was the perfect mix of traditional feel with some western amenities! The room was a great size for two people and loved how centrally located we were. 20 minute walk from Kyoto Startion. Just over 20 minute walk to Gion and other stations were 10 minutes to be able to hop on the train and see other highlights of Kyoto! The staff were very friendly and I appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage there upon check out for a few hours so we could do a little more sight seeing before heading to Tokyo!

The little garden attached to my room was awesome. My advice is to take the ground floor rooms that have a tiny garden.
Suggestion to add a bottle of mineral water in the fridge.

The room and hotel were clean and reasonably comfortable. We barely saw any staff or other guest. The location is in a quiet part of town, about a 10 minute walk from a major train station. Hotel was great for Day trips since it was so close to the Shinkansen station, but not a great place if you wanted to site see the rest of Kyoto - trains don't connect, so there is a lot of walking involved. There are a few places in the area to eat, but not a ton. There is more 'fast food' near the train station. Our only gripe was the quality of the internet service. It was quite slow and laggy which makes doing any work difficult (some of us have to work on holiday).

The accomodation was 15 minutes walk from the Kyoto train station. 10 minutes by bus. It was in a good location. The room was clean. The room is a bit small but it is perfect for one person. If you are two with big luggage the room could be a little bit small for you.
Overall I had a great experience.
