The staff were great; The guesthouse is immaculately clean; Location is amazing - next to the Imperial Palace; It’s quiet and comfortable.
hmm maybe the steep staircase ? But it’s not a problem if you’re a normal human who can walk.

The staff and owner both are very friendly and super helpful! We enjoyed our stays, also it felt safe and convinient!
The sound proof might be a bit off, depending on your shared guest, sometimes you heard their loud noise at mid night.

If you have huge lugguages, please take the train from kyoto station then use Uber Drive instead of walking (since huge lugguage can not be travel with city bus)

The place is run by lovely staff, and the other travelers are respectful and mindful. The room is spacious, and common areas are clean and readily available.
Two of my fellow travelers thought the beds were uncomfortable (they're shikibuton on top of tatami). I thought it was comfortable however.

A lovely friendly guesthouse - perfect for a solo female traveller. Excellent facilities like fridge, microwave and dishes in the shared area. Close to temples and gardens, and easy to find on pu luc transport. I really enjoyed my stay and would come here again.

The place was quiet, clean, and cozy. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and supportive. I left my luggage before check-in, and when I returned, it had already been delivered to my room. One staff member even walked me to a nearby public bathhouse and guided me through how to use it, as it was my first time. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Kyoto.

Location was good, there were many places to eat around and a convenience store nearby. as well as a bath house nearby. The facilities and room were clean and spacious. The staff were also super friendly and helpful, they can speak both japanese and mandarin and gave us suggestions on places to eat and gave us directions to osaka.

The room is quite spacious and suitable for three guests. Nice service from guesthouse staff.
The steep and high stairs can be a bit challenging when carrying heavy luggage to the upper floor.
While the accommodation is nice, the distance from the train station can be a bit of inconvenience if you're carrying heavy luggage.

The hosts are so welcoming and warm! They really made us feel welcome and also took time to get to know us.
The place is very cozy and comfortable. The shared toilets and showers were all very clean, and the room we had (for 2 people) was sufficient for us to lay out our luggage. The futons were very comfortable and warm as well.
This location is great too! It's away from the city centre so it's not as crowded, and there's lots of food around and things to do.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay again!
If you're on the second or third floor, take note that you will need to carry your luggage up stairs!
