Exceptional
The hotel is located a little far from Kyoto city centre, near the last station on the Green Line. However, it is only about a 10-minute walk from the Kyoto International Conference Center, so it is very convenient if you are attending a conference there.
The food provided by the hotel was very nice, although the prices were a little high. The facilities were excellent overall, and the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. I especially liked the beautiful fish pond, which created a very relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for anyone attending an event at the nearby conference center.

The room was spacious enough, and the bed was comfortable.
The quiet surroundings allowed me to enjoy a relaxing stay.

Stay here only if you need to be close to Kyoto International Conference center. There is no additional preference for staying at The Prince Kyoto because it’s so far from other Kyoto attractions. Rooms are spacious and clean.
The breakfast was a great disappointment.

Breakfast was absolutely terrible. Hidden fees which don’t show until you book including a 15% service charge.
Booking.com always shows total price in Japan. Not at this hotel!

Beautiful large rooms in a luxury hotel with beautiful and relaxing surroundings. It was just out of the busy-ness of downtown Kyoto but very easy to access via the metro. Amazing service and great benefits including the fantastic club lounge.

I loved everything here! Booked a suite and used the living room for my classroom. Booked regular rooms for my students and they all Loved the hotel.
I originally planned to stay elsewhere after my students left, but ended up coming back to this hotel because it was so comfortable❤️ The location is truly wonderful too!!
Hmm mm. I can think of so many things I love here. Not a single thing I didn't like.
I plan to return with my future pilgrimage students again!

When I asked for microwave, they said there’s no microwave however they warmed up my stuff in their kitchen just for that one time.
There’s no convenience store or coffee shops nearby. It’s a bit of a walk from the closest station. With luggage you would be taxi dependent. No microwave.

It is close to the train station. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the city. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The Google map sent us to the wrong location, the back door of the hotel.

Great location for relaxation, far from the centre of city, but near metro and buses stations, nearby the beautiful lake and parks, surrounding many historical places and temples, with great views of mountains, wonderful lounge with delicious breakfast and unforgettable view ; nice restorans and bar, tea house for tea ceremonies, the room large and very comfortable with comfortable beds ,pillows, very clean ; also hotel have servis to bring your luggage to the Kyoto station without fee; highly recommended this hotel !!!

Almost everything. Hotel was nicely designed, clean and elegant, room was perfectly designed. The view was fantastic. Lots of trees in every autumn color you cant even imagine. Staff was nice, helpful and positive. There is a calm and very beautiful lake very close to the hotel. A hidden gem

A/C did not work woke up at big-time due to room feeling super hot.
Miscommunication with laundry service type presented only one option but there is an express option checked incorrect box based on what was stated.
