The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Being so close to Kyoto station was a great advantage on daily commute as a tourist, whether using a train or bus. Location is amazing. Breakfast is great and catered well to both our tastes, with my spouse being pescatarian. Overall a brilliant hotel.
The experience of drying a load of clothes/washing in the laundry was not great. Reason: The machines wash absolutely fine, but the style of laundry machine uses high heat for drying, as opposed to the condenser type dryer (which extracts moisture without high heat required, thereby friendly to the clothing). This experience of using the laundry did not detract from me giving the hotel iteself a 10/10 overall.

Very clean & comfy room with a kettle and fridge. GREAT breakfast buffet. Loved the laundry room, but you should be aware that a load takes 2 hours to wash and dry and you cannot remove clothes during that time, so do laundry when you have 2 hours to spare. Staff is excellent. Location is super close to Kyoto Station and you can learn to walk to the station underground, though it is confusing at first. There are information booths at the station if you need help. There is also a gorgeous temple just a half block away.
It's not a luxury hotel, but it met our needs just right.

Location next to Kyoto station was great. The room was very comfortable and had a great bathroom and amenities.
Breakfast was ok.. they had many soups which some may like but it wasn't our preference for breakfast

Great location. Across the street from Kyoto Station and next door to large electronic store. Walking distance to Teamlab. The amenities they provided in the lobby (snacks, kids slippers/toothbrush, bath salts. Nice touch! Also, laundry room.
Room was a bit small, but carpet in room was old and dirty looking.

This hotel was very clean and close to the station with a Family Mart close by. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again as a solo traveler

The room was spacious and clean. It also has a massage chair which is really useful during our stay. I like the layout of the toilet where they separate the bathroom with the toilet. They also provide facial and hair products where you can grab from the lobby. There is also toiletries and pajamas for kids. It is a 5 mins walk from Kyoto station. Next to this hotel has yodabashi camera shopping mall where you have Uniqlo and GU, lots of electrical goods, bath bombs for my son, even the Pokémon figurines!
