The location next to Shin-Kyoto Station and the attention to detail provided by the hotel’s operating staff.
The toilet paper. Japan, in general, has very weak toilet paper so I can’t blame the hotel entirely.

We stayed there a year ago and was fortunate to get a room this time. The location can't be beat for transportation, malls and walking to attractions. The hotel is beautiful and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our go to next time as well. If you find a room here, grab it!

Everything about this property was amazing - the room, the staff, the breakfast, the location, the services. Just perfect. And beautiful. Larger rooms than other accommodation in Japan. Breakfast was best we had in Japan. Staff were amazing - especially Murat ( think that was his name). They also provide Crabtree shampoo etc which is wonderful. There was nothing more we needed. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Kyoto. And I will definitely go back soon. They even give you delicious cookies when you arrive. How cute is that?

The location is near the station, it has a good breakfast buffet, friendly staff and clean and cozy rooms. I would stay here again when I'm in Kyoto. It was a pleasant stay.
