We really enjoyed our stay here. It's in a quiet area and close to Kyoto station. Easy to walk to places. The staff was wonder, all very clean and we really enjoyed the room we stayed in.

Very close to Kyoto Station but also tucked away, little bars and restaurants nearby and an onsen across the road. Beautiful rooms.
It was very good overall. Maybe there could be storage space to unpack your clothes a bit more.

Great location as it is walking distance from Kyoto station. The room was clean and well-furnished. There is a manned reception during the day time and the team is very helpful.
There is no washing machine in the room or in the property. There is a laundromat right behind the hotel but it is very popular with tourists, so you can end waiting a fair bit for a machine to become available.

Location was great! Close to Kyoto station and the bus station. Walking distance to shopping malls. There's a laundry facility just around the corner.
Room was a little smaller than expected, and would be better if toilet and shower were in seperate rooms.

Cleaniless of the place, distance from train station, great utilization of space-- sliding doors, handrails on the balcony and bathroom to hang towels, great living room with comfy furnitures, various lighting- makes the room fun, gadgets, etc. beautiful and multi-functional shower.

It was a very spacious room, the hotel is super easy find, the room looks exactly like it’s pictured, located a couple minute walk from Kyoto Station, and the staff was super nice!
We had to wait a couple minutes when we were checking in because the group before us had a small issue and the front desk staff was so kind and apologetic about it. He was very easy to talk to and let us check-in early! Thankful for the great staff!

Great location, near the quiet part of the station (south part). Boutique hotel, very well designed, with large rooms and bathroom, very modern and comfy. Reception had plenty of items to borrow if needed (from wireless speakers to photo printer and projector).
There were some stains on the sofa and the curtains that need to be cleaned.

22 Pieces Kyoto completely exceeded our expectations. The room was exceptionally spacious for a Japanese hotel, especially considering the price is similar to much smaller places. We also loved that the lobby had a cabinet where guests could freely borrow useful items, from speakers to cooking pots and many more. It felt very thoughtful.
The location was perfect for us. It’s in a quiet but still lively area, surrounded by a few other hotels, with a convenience store right on the way to the station which made it very convenient to grab breakfast before catching a train. Both the train station and the bus stop were very close, making it incredibly easy to get around Kyoto.
The only downside is that they don’t have laundry facilities, which would have been very helpful for travelers staying a week or longer.
The best part? The receptionist’s name was also Shakira. We were so excited when we realized it, and it instantly made our check-in feel warm and memorable. She was genuinely helpful and made our stay even more special.
Overall, it was an amazing stay and great value for Kyoto!
There honestly wasn’t much to dislike. The only small downsides were that the hotel doesn’t have laundry facilities, which would have been helpful for longer stays, and we did notice a little leftover grape under the sofa. It was a minor detail, but worth mentioning. Other than that, everything else was wonderful.

I loved the atrium, the spaciousness and cleanliness. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient, close to the train station.
