We loved the design of our villa, the amenities, the surrounding grounds and the public spaces like FreeBird.
While we loved the walk to the main areas like Free Bird or the public bath, it is a hike. I would recommend equipping all units with bikes and an easy way to call for a ride. I also would recommend a welcome fruit basket in the room. The complimentary beverages in the room were lovely.

Everything about this property was absolutely incredible—truly a 100/10 experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. The space was beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfectly captured the relaxing atmosphere you hope for when staying in Hakone. We stayed in #5 with the outdoor onsen, and it completely elevated the experience. Being able to soak in the private onsen while surrounded by nature was unforgettable and so relaxing after long days of exploring. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. You can really tell how much care goes into maintaining the property and making guests feel at home. Every detail added to the overall experience. We had such an amazing time and would 100% come back in the future. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all of our family and friends. If you’re visiting Hakone and want a peaceful, memorable stay, this is it. ♨️✨

It was a such a beautiful get away from the city and the hustle of life. We had our breakfast and dinners on the property which were excellent! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our private outdoor onsen was by far our favorite on the property.

The setup was a nice getaway with a fireplace instead of a TV but it was a different and nice experience
Too many stink bugs and the blanket had a stain from a leak from the ceiling when we first arrived and it’s overpriced items due to being away from everything

My family and I had a wonderful 1-night stay here. Every interaction with the staff was warm and welcoming. We felt well cared throughout the stay. We got the villa #10 which has a private outdoor onsen with beautiful views. Due to the jet lag, we woke up just before sunrise and spent some quiet time in the onsen watching the surrounding gradually light up. It turned out to be an amazing experience. Food was great just as many others have mentioned.

The staff was exceptional, friendly, and tended to our every need, from accommodating and arranging based on our schedules, meal adjustments. They were a big part of the amazing experience. We spent the weekend and had a truly relaxing time.
The private onsen was really nice, but it was not as private as we would have hoped. That said, the area was secluded so it is still private unless someone decides to walk up to your villa.

Unbelievably beautiful! The room and personal hot springs were incredible. Breakfast was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Just a great stay all around.
