The huge rooms, the balcony, the style. The breakfast! The shuttle service!
The price. The food outside of breakfast was very expensive. The onsen was indoors and could have been anywhere. Didn’t capture the feel of the area. No where really to walk to in the area. The area has a lot of hotels.

It’s at a great location .
Loved the inside fire pit. It was very unique.

Loved the staff, facilities, breakfast, onsen, and the chauffeur service was incredible
The room service food was just okay and the room temperature was a bit hot even though we turned off the heat to the room, we had to open the windows and it was still warm while sleeping

Beautiful location and venue. Exceptional food, particularly buffet breakfast. We stayed Christmas Eve and the staff went above and beyond to help us prepare a surprise from Santa!

Room Size, Breakfast, Living Room for relaxing after day out.
Onsen is a bit simple, just one pool ... service at the living room sometimes slow, not possible to order from French restaurant and Japanese restaurant when eating at living room.

We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was excellent - we really enjoyed
We drove to the hotel and parked on the second level so getting back to the reception area proved a little difficult

Breakfast was ok
We stayed there for a night to celebrate by sons birthday . The room was good , view was nice but then dinner was ok . I had more expectation because the last time we had dinner in oak door tokyo it was really good . The birthday plate was really very below expectation. It was just one piece banana and two blue berries and a candle . It was for free so cost but it would have been better if the told us that it would be just that we would have paid extra money for cake or the plate

Location far from the train station , although the hotel offers free shuttle, after the shuttle time it will be problematic to reach the hotel, no taxi available at night, so if you go back to the hotel on time you will have a great stay

Evening meal in the western restaurant was lovely and the staff were very good
The hotel is dated and tired and not what you would expect from a Hyatt hotel . The shower had mould and the furniture was damaged and chipped in the bedroom. The lounge was very dated including the furnishings and the dust on the wood wall decor was so visible to the extent other guests commented . The Mountain View included a very large red roof top of a building immediately in front of the window with another building/shed covered in blue plastic . This can all be excused if the price reflected what you pay for but when you expect a 5star hotel at £500 per night then expectations are more than what this hotel is offering .
