Host ( guy ) was really nice and helpful. He provided really good service and explained everything. I enjoyed out stay here. Played Ping-pong and used Pool table. Got to chat with another guest (Alex) this place was nice location to get to Gora Station.
If you get there late you will have to do a nice heavy stair walk.

The location is pretty good, very close to the Gora station. It's a very clean guesthouse with multiple amenities. Considering the price you pay, it's really good bang for the bucks.

Beautiful view on the rooftop. The room was very nice and the shared spaces were kept clean. It is quiet at night which is very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location and beautiful rooftop views!
Not very social house and the walk up from the bus stop is very steep and long - we only had backpacks - but for someone with luggage it would be very difficult.

Wonderful
The location was just a few minutes walk away from Gora Station. The facilities were clean, the rooftop was amazing, and the staff were really helpful.
There are only 2 shower rooms that we can use and since we're a large group, it was quite a hassle to wait for one another before we can take our turn. But it's manageable. Overall, the facilities are perfect for us.

This property had Japanese style rooms and even after having common kitchen and bathrooms they all were clean. Great location right near the train station Staff was so friendly and helped us with the site seeing options.

The property is so close to Gora station which is a starting point for the cable car ride to lake Ashi and there is a free bus to Pola art gallery . It has ensens nearby and a cafe across the road. Restaurants do close early in this area and many places were shut Tues night . The rooms are gorgeous warm and comfortable and the view from the roof of the mountains is lovely. It has steps and no lift but the host helped us with our luggage .the convenience of this place to gora station was great . The view from our room was lovely .

Extremely easy to find, room was clean and toiletries provided. Basic accomodation in Japanese setting. Other than below remark re bathroom, it was good and everything had a fresh clean smell and lovely hot water running.
We had to exit the room to a terrace to shower or go to the bathroom. The outside temperature was quite cold 6°C. So if you wake up in the night to go to bathroom, ask for an inside room close to the bathroom.

We checked in after 5 pm and our room was not made ! But the man at the guesthouse made the room quickly, and even apologised.
The lady in charge gave such a bad name to Japan ! I feel sorry to say this - Japan is my 53rd country to travel and this was the worst experience I had.
She had such negative and unpleasant energy and threatened to leave my suitcase on the road - the only one piece I wanted to leave with the property for a couple of hours as it won't fit into the lockers at the train station.
The doors banged all night. Tiny claustrophobic toilet. Too many people for one small loo. Non info could be sought about local sightseeing.
At 4.30 am we were woken up by loud crashing sounds from God knows where.
Not one place to sit in the room - it's ok to have futon to sleep - but where does one sit !
No light in the room entrance.. I could go on bit there are better things to do

Well priced place, with a comfortable feeling and nice common room. Nice guests. Quiet. Comfortable beds and provided toileteries.
