Staff was great, Mr Yamamoto was great attending when there was an issue, Charmi was so cute, the room was great and comfortable, I enjoyed the stay a lot great authentic Ryokan experience.

It’s really close to the station, about a 2-minute walk. FamilyMart is also just a minute away, which makes it very convenient. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Even though I was late for check-in, the staff kindly arranged everything for me. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to Kushida shrine and surround area is lively. This is a Ryokan modified from a very old house. I believe it runs by a old couple. If you want to explore a old traditional Japanese house and the way of living, its a perfect fit. You could see the old objects here and there in the house. And the way of taking bath is truly a experience. Overall my family enjoyed staying there. The cute dog they have is such a sweetie.
I won't recommend for people with back pain problems cause there is no chair in the room except futon. We were arranged in the 2nd floor and the stairs are pretty steep.

It was my first time staying at a Ryokan, so overall I had a good experience. The room was quite nice and breakfast provided was quite good. The staff didn't speak much English but communicated well.
The toilet was a bit small. The WiFi kept breaking.

Just a minor thing but the bath was heated to unbearable temperature and there weren't how to properly cool it down and we couldn't use it.

Excellent location close to subway Gion, to many conveniance shops and to the very colorful and interesting area near the arcade and canals. The onsen - although not very exotic - was perfect. The breakfast good and the room with free tea, microwave and fridge available for the guests. The guesthouse is in a rather old but charming building with a maze of stairs and corridors.

The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast. It was substantial and included with the stay.
The Ryokan was small with steep stairs and long corridors that were poorly lit. The toilets were super small. The bathroom needed more cleaning.
