We were lucky to receive a great price for the room, and loved the all inclusive onsen/sauna
Our room was next to a "dog friendly" room. The dog barked incessantly until owners returned, then barked in the afternoon. Unbelievable. I requested to move. Also, this is a resort far from the City and like-amenities (a 45 min ride to the City), so I wouldn't recommend staying here if this is your first visit to Fukuoka.

Did not eat there. Location was great.
Was not informed that we can not swim in the swimming pool or lounge around the pool during our stay. No where was it mentioned that in Japan you may only swim in the summer months. It was VERY HOT but we may not swim. If we new this before we booked we would not have booked there. It was also not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. Rooms had carpets in with stains on them - the one wall has dirty mark all over the wall. This hotel needs a serious renovation - especially the rooms. The furniture is outdated and the wood is chipping on the bedside tables. Our beds were also not made up. Beds are also not comfortable. They need to be replaced.

The location was great as it was right next to the Aquarium and other places to visit not to far from the resort. The rooms are dated, and the beds are very stiff; which I didn't sleep very well. For the price point you would think you would get better beds and they were worse than a 2 star hotel... The place was clean and staff were well mannered. I think having the pool only open after i think 5pm for adults is ridiculous; as we are paying to use the pool with our stay. We will not be staying at this resort in the future as it is dated, and not worth the money to stay here. Also all treatments are extra and not included; meaning, there should have been at least some incentives to stay here.
Beds were horrible. Pool hours for family, not only for adult after 5pm.

Liked the pool, spa and bathhouse.
Very dated. Found mold in the bathroom. Chipped paint and scuffed furniture looked like it was picked up at a resale or recycling center. For the price, the dated and shabby look of the room didn’t make sense.

Spacious room, quiet surroundings, perhaps because it’s off season. Just walking distance to train station.
1. Why was the pool closed? It was quite hot and would have been nice to take a dip or laze by the pool but… 2. The lobby area is simply TOO DARK!!!!! Quite the opposite effect for creating an ambience of a resort. 3. Why is check-in at 4pm? Everyone else was rushing to checkin and the queue was so long and despite fully manned counters, it just took way too long. 4. What with the parking QRcode when it’s free parking and that there are no barriers at all.?? Totally redundant. 5. Lack of a convenience store like 7-11, Lawson or Family mart. This would have been a great boost. 6. Staff’s English could be better, despite it being seemingly a ‘domestic resort’? 7. Room- I think it’s a old place but tried to do some upgrades/retrofit- the tap is too far from the center, ie it too close to the far edge of the basin - make washing face or cups and even hands very difficult. 8. Should have better quality check of each room - one of the bulbs in the room ceiling was not working, making the room dim. seeing that the English was lacking, did not even call for them to make the change. 9. I communicated with them via the app messaging as encouraged, for extra pillows. And they confirmed they will provide extra pillow, 3 per bed/adult (2 of us only), and they could not fulfill what they agreed :( 10. Room Numbers in the corridor, better to have brighter numbers like white against the dark silver plating- so hard to see the room numbers

Super helpful, welcoming team members. We liked our spacious twin room, the wellness spa is gorgeous for relaxation massage and facials, the main restaurant serves delicious, well prepared meals. Location is alongside parks, walking/biking paths, beaches.
The hotel may be ready for a refresh of some facilities and/or rooms.

It has a very good view, it is very close to the aquarium, and there is a large lawn by the sea, which is perfect for bringing children to play
At present, the third floor is still under renovation, so the spa is not very convenient

Their shining star is Genkai - their Japanese restaurant. Simply wow! Their set menus and kids menus was spot on. Would definitely go back to the restaurant only.
Price paid for the property did not meet the condition, quality of the hotel. Breakfast was good - not wow. The carpet in room was outdated and needed a clean.
