I had a nice stay. The location was not far from Hakata Station with a lot of convenient stores around. The room was clean.
The bathroom drain was a bit stuck and the water didn't go down quickly. But I was mostly busy with work and didn't tell the hotel staffs to fix it but it's still okay for me.

Great location! Just a short walk from Hakata Station, and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The lobby had plenty of maps and brochures in English about the area. I didn't use the service, but I appreciated that there was a LUUP station on the property. I was previously in Tokyo so I was getting used to how spacious Fukuoka was. Now that I know, I definitely want to try next time! There's always a staff member on the main floor if you have questions or need assistance, and all the staff in general are knowledgeable and professional. Shout-out to the staff who called a taxi for me when I had too much luggage to handle by myself. I also LOVED that amenities were on every floor! Not only can I get exactly what I need, I can just step out without having to go all the way down to the lobby. My room and the hotel facilities were all clean and functional. Thankful that breakfast was provided and was optional. Not fancy but just what you need for a simple and quick meal. It was great opportunity to try a traditional Japanese breakfast of rice, noodles, mentaiko! etc. Western options are available as well: toast, eggs, protein etc.
The instructions for room cleaning were very clear, where you can opt out for a few days (I needed space and time to unpack). After that it's required which is understandable, and they even write a date for when to expect it. Just one thing I was confused about: why did I get new towels every day? While I appreciate the hotel's thoughtfulness and priority for cleanliness, I just didn't know what to do with them especially since I didn't need room cleaning every day. I still brought them in but left them in a corner, often unused, taking up valuable space! I believe they're a business hotel so I guess convenience and efficiency is the standard. I just missed my opportunity to ask! My first time getting breakfast was in the later half of the service period. Upon arrival it felt a bit disappointing to see most of the serving trays were half or nearly empty, as if I was only able to eat whatever was left after the early risers. It got better in the following days when trays were refilled more often so nothing looked near empty. I understand the importance of preventing food waste, but appearance is important as well and I hope guests can get an equal share at any hour. Maybe condense them onto smaller dishes? Nevertheless I do appreciate the staff telling us when was the last call for getting food, as it helped me to time myself better and eat earlier.

the noise…even with the windows tightly closed, I'm always woken up by the sound of fire trucks at least once every night. The dripping sound from the toilet tank is also very annoying.
