Plenty of choice at breakfast. The onsen is great. The staff will always call you a taxi to the station (only 750 yen) and once an hour in the middle of the day there is a free shuttle bus.

Location good. Nice onsen.
Wifi didn’t work in room despite asking reception for help. The hot water device didn’t room did not function well. Kettle would have been much better. Noisy renovations ongoing in hotel. Needlessly long walk to room from reception & carpark. The obvious entrance fr carpark was chained up. Lack of flexibility in checking earlier.

I can't type properly in Japanese, so I write in English. The staff was so out of touch that I didn't even get a receipt. The building is too complicated. No shoes allowed, too much hassle.

Beautiful outlook over the hills, great breakfast and lovely onsen.
A loud tour group came in at 9.30 on the first night and woke me up.

Good value. Nice outdoor bath. Breakfast was pretty good, a nice mix of Western and Japanese style.
The layout is a bit confusing. It's a long walk from downtown Dazaifu, and the hours that the shuttle runs are very limited.

As always at a Route Inn, the breakfast was excellent. They have such delicious breads, which we can also toast. Suits people who don't like Asian breakfast. The big dining room was flooded with sunshine in the morning, quite delightful. The onsen was great! Outdoor baths, what a treat. My room had a soothing view of a forest, at the back of the hotel.
Two things which we rarely find in Japan - a somewhat grumpy person in reception when I arrived, and a cold toilet seat in my room.
