Cleaners leave our supplies outside the door even if we did not have the room made up. While communicating posed a challenge, staff at the reception are very cordial.

I stayed one night at President Hakata before my flight home. Overall, it was quite okay. The room felt a bit small for me but it was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The staff were really kind and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. Breakfast was decent, though not buffet-style so you can choose between a Japanese or an English breakfast. The location is excellent, less than 10 minutes from Hakata Station and very close to a large Family Mart and 7-Eleven.
The only downside, as I mentioned is that the room felt a bit small. There’s also a free shuttle to Hakata Station, which is a nice touch but it only starts operating at 8:00 AM so I couldn’t use it for my early flight. The staff offered to help arrange a taxi, either by schedule or just a few minutes before departure. However since the hotel is so close to Hakata Station, it’s actually easier and cheaper to just walk there and take the bus to the international terminal.

Location is great and close to AMU Plaza and shopping centres at Hakata station. Staff is great and helpful. Room, toilet, bathroom and bedsheets are clean. Good choice for a short stay.

Very convenient location close to train station, with free shuttle supplied. Set breakfast was OK. Washer/dryer (with no indication or choice of temperature) and microwave available on a couple of floors. Ability to obtain softer pillows (supplied pillows were very hard, so most people did that, and left their hard ones in the storage slots, so it required a trip to a much lower floor to find a soft one). Bed was comfortable. Not much traffic noise on high floor.
Central air conditioning was switched to heat for the fall. No AC or individual controls. Our room was like an oven when we checked in. They did give us a fan and turned the heat down a bit, but we had to sleep with the window and curtains open and run the fan all night in order not be be too hot. Wifi did not work and jumped into "Hidden Network". Finally a staff person got the WiFi for the room next door to work for us. Bedside table was not clean; had some sort of sticky substance on it. Toilet was a bit smelly. Sink was extremely low, suitable for a person under 5 feet tall perhaps. Bathroom renovations are going on until about May 2026. However, they did not start work until 9 AM. A choice of western or Japanese breakfast was indicated in their description, but in fact, only a Japanese breakfast was offered, and it was exactly the same every day.

The location was great and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the facilities in the room were good even though the room is very small (like a lot of hotel rooms in Japanese cities).
The bathroom in our room was a bit smelly when we arrived and when we would come back to our room after we had been out all day. There were notices in the lobby to say there's going to be work done on the bathrooms so maybe it's something that will be fixed.

I really appreciate the bottled mineral water in the room, no other hotel give it. The hotel provides 2 pillows, every other hotel only provides 1. There is a classy feel from the everything in the hotel even though the building is obviously a bit old,
The open & close button in the elevator is still using only kanji, confusing to tourist who does not know.

Would have preferred buffet style. Set western serving was unusual. Location was excellent and served the major purpose for choosing President Hotel. Room was inadequate for two people. Bed took up 80 percent of floor space. Difficult for two to move around.Bathroom was good.

It's a nice place, located near the Hakata Station, just a 7-10 minute walk. The facilities are fully equipped.
The walls are a bit thin. You can hear people talking, snoring, and laughing from the next room.

Above all, the breakfast is extremely delicious (you can choose between Japanese and Western-style meals). The creative Japanese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel serves very high-quality, reasonably priced meals. I also use it for business entertainment. It is not an exaggeration to say that I book this hotel just to eat the meals there.
Recently, there are many overseas tourists staying here. Perhaps because of this, I have the impression that there are more and more guests who make a lot of noise and are loud until late at night.

The hotel offers free shuttle service to/from Hakata station. It also has its service area with free use of microwave oven, free ice and washing machine (for a fee). The staff are accommodating. Rooms are clean and spacious.

warm and professional staff.
doesn't have their own parking, instructed to 3-4 block away from the help to a multi floor parkade and it's full when we get there. Rooms are pretty small, tiny bathroom, only climate control in the room is for heat, it's either off, or on with 3 setting, low, medium, high. through out the room contact service is not that clean, super dusty on some surface. I do not think it is worth what I paid for the room.
