The hotel was located very conveniently next to Hakata station. The room was roomy for the 2 of us with very comfortable beds. We loved the onsen so much that we would consider returning.
As mentions by others, some parts of the room was not as clean as it should be. The carpet was especially dirty/marked up and the bathroom walls had spots and smelled damp. While the breakfast menu was vast, they were almost the same both days and mainly Japanese food. Those who are used to western breakfast would find it too foreign.

The real prize of this hotel is the location. Fukuoka may look large on the map, but if you're only staying for a few days, you may never leave the banks of the Naka. It felt like every time we checked our map, we were a 15 or 20 minute walk from where we wanted to be. Not to mention, you really shouldn't underestimate the value of having a konbini on the ground floor. Really a lifesaver to not have to go back out into the street for one or two little items you happen to need.
The room was a little cramped, but that seems typical of Western-style rooms in Japan. That's pretty much the only negative, so I'll just meet my character requirement by saying Croom some more. Croom Croom Croom.

Deluxe Room size though small is sufficient for 2 of us .. Bed and pillow are very comfortable and the Aircon is quiet.
Would be nice to have the bed in the centre of room instead of flushed against the wall.

The hotel's lobby is quite spacious and almost luxurious given its train and bus station adjacent location. I booked a premium queen single and it was fine for one person but a bit snug if they had allowed two in. Much more spartan than the lobby, but with everything one would want for a night or two. Obviously the foot massage machine is a necessity (lol). The bathroom was Japanese fabulous with a great shower area. Good location for train station and exploring Gion area. Convenience store in lower level with onsen.
Inflexible 1500 check in time...welcome to Japan! Hopefully you did not have an overnight flight (as I did). I had apparently booked a busy weekend so the price was high for the compact but efficient room.

Very close and convenient to the station. The attached Lawson's was also a plus. The room itself was clean and we were provided with fresh towels and water bottles each day. The onsen was decently large and was also equipped with a cold plunge and sauna. Great value for the price

There was a box underneath the TV. I thought it was a storage, but turned out to be a box to conceal the cables. It was confusing as I struggled to open it, wanting to store my clothe in it. I thought the toilet bowl was small, outdated.

The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a refreshing scent—like a spa wrapped in a warm hug. The location is unbeatable, just a stone’s throw from the train station, making it super convenient. While the room was tiny (think minimalist chic... with extra emphasis on mini), the onsen totally made up for it—clean, soothing, and the perfect way to unwind. Breakfast was just okay, nothing to write home about, but good enough to start the day. Come for the convenience and the onsen, stay for the great vibes and good value.
The room, however, is very small—barely enough space to open a suitcase. If you're traveling as a couple, definitely consider upgrading to a larger room.
