The location was really great! Easy to access the subway and near a lot of stores and restaurants. There was also a festival happening on the street in front of the hotel, so it was an added bonus. The staff was also really helpful and many people were able to help me in English as well.
Overall, it was a great experience. However, I would have liked to know a little more information about parking and the pricing. It was difficult to find that information on the listing online.

Good location, very close to subway and easy to reach from Hakata station, nice lobby and bar area - this however doesnt apply to the actual rooms!
- very small: you will have trouble to store and open your suitcase, bathroom is way to small for somebody larger than 180cm - dirty: there where many different stains on our wall in the room, bathroom was dirty and worn down, vents and toilet need some proper cleaning- perhaps a replacement, the shower curtain smelled badly, as mentioned in other reviews the carpet in the halls is covered in stains

The style of this hotel is unique and it has a modern/energetic feel to it. Staff is friendly and English-speaking. Happy hour in the evening with free beer. Delicious breakfast with a refined touch. The interiors in the common areas are just astounding. It is in the heart of Fukuoka making it a perfect hotel to stay in for city-exploring.
The rooms are a bit small but overall this is a common fact in Japan. The rooms and especially the bathroom could be a little bit cleaner, but nothing to be worried about. Bear in mind towels and bed linen are not changed unless you ask for it. It is an eco-friendly move, but some guests may want to know this in advance.

After staying in The Lively in Osaka, I was thrilled to see that they have a branch in Fukuoka! The design is very chic and modern, it's located close to the metro exit and there are loads of great restaurants nearby. Of course I have to mention the free beer hour from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (lemon sour also available) I stayed in the theatre room which I loved, it's fitted with Chromecast so you can connect your device, or you can borrow a HDMI cable from reception free of charge
The only thing I didn't like was that you can't adjust the temperature of the aircon, so I found the room to be a bit too warm for me. Also the room is a bit smaller compared to their Osaka hotel (but you get a bath which you don't get in Osaka, although it did drain very slowly), But actually it's still a bigger room compared to a standard Japanese hotel room

Very close to everything. The lounge(s) were beautiful. The staff was fine, but the rest of Fukuoka was a lot more friendly in my opinion. The free beer was super nice. It was well worth the price and I would absolutely come here again if I come back to Fukuoka someday.
The pillows were hard/not big enough, the projector was crooked in a way that couldnt be fixed, and it was quite small(not a lot of space for a luggage)

Really modern and well-situated hotel in Fukuoka. Everything was very clean and as shown on the pictures! Friendly stuff and great hotel bar with free beer happy hour
