Room was great, staff was helpful and could hold our passports while we went out because ouwe arrived earlier than our room was ready.
I wasn't a fan of the location. The backside had a lot of pleasure places for men. It was a nice place though.

It was a strategic location, lots of food, near the subway, good bed, just a bit soft like its been used too long. They had a spa which i didnt try and famima was just down on first floor with special entrance for hotel visitors. Less than 5 mins walk to the nearest subway that had the fukuoka airport line so, thats convenient!
BUT it was smack centre of a red light district making me wonder if the room I was in was also use for.. ehem. As a lady traveller I was a bit scared to leave at night alone to explore Hakata. I wouldnt recommend for families and lone female traveller, but also I made the mistake of not reading the reviews. Not gonna lie, the room is comfy, just location is sketchy.

I got super lucky because when I arrived there was a street festival happening, so there was lots going on and it felt super fun. The hotel was just what I wanted, central and easy to reach from the ferry terminal. My room was small, but it was enough for a place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was ok. The staff were lovely and helpful. I thought I had booked a room with a canal view, but it was not to be.
Once the festival ended, it turned out I was in a bit of a red light district. Lots of seedy bars for men looking for 'escorts'. But it was safe, and interesting (if a little sad) to watch.

Location is great! It's very close to the shopping mall and subway station.
Some staff at reception couldn't understand English and didn't know how to use the credit card (some cards have chips to insert and some cards need to swipe), later it's wrongly setup via Visa channel instead of Unionpay which charged me extra card service fee. Price on Bookings.com is not clearly stated, I was requested to pay extra tax in the next day which is inconsistent with the fee on Bookings.com, this is not the first time that Bookings confused me.

Excellent location. Walking distance to major shopping centers and commercial streets.
It is actually located in a red light district. Many prostitutes are trying to recruit customers on the same street at night. I cant help but under the impression that this hotel could be one of the motels people used for sexual activities. The towers they gave me on the first night smelled seminal, although they gave me clean towels the next day. Also, they do not offer room cleaning service during my stay. The rubbish bin was relatively small, so you have to take out your own trash.

The SPA facility was excellent. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location as it was surrounded by lots of great restaurant and wonderful Fukuoka Park.
Cleanness of room floor - I found it because when I dropped my grapes on floor of my room. I tried to clean the floor with a wet wipes but the wipes turned "black"....other than that i think it was good enough as expected.

Right in the middle of the entertainment district which made for interesting sightseeing at night! Amazing staff who went over and above what was expected to help me post a package to someone in Japan.
Rooms were a little snug. Was a 15 minute walk to breakfast options.
