The property location was great to the station. The lobby was very pretty

Large somewhat fancy hotels are not my norm. But I picked this one for convenience and am glad I did do the last 3 days of a 28 day trip. It’s a very elegant hotel and very close to the main train station which was super handy. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom had great products. It was an easy walk to places like canal city and many restaurants.
The only critiques I had were that the concierge/while very sweet- was not particularly knowledgeable. We wanted to book a boat ride on one of the canals/rivers- which seems like a pretty common tourist thing to do - and she had to google to figure out how to do so. While affordable by US standards, the room service breakfast was not particularly great.

Super comfortable beds and strong shower pressure. Location is unbeatable, less than a 5 min walk to Hakata Station. The Japanese breakfast set at the Japanese breakfast is excellent!
The front desk staff could learn to smile more. They were not very friendly.

We arrived early in the morning and were unable to check-in. However, front desk allowed us to keep our luggages at the hotel first and did a pre-check-in for us so that when we came to check in, it would be a lot easier and faster. - friendly staff - excellent service (hot towels on arrival) - seamless check-in - beautiful postcards in room - clean and practical room - extremely quiet and comfortable - location is excellent (with convenience store next door and underpass connection, Exit P5 is the closest to the hotel from train station) - lots of shopping around, but area is still quiet - underpass actually leads all the way to Hakata Old Town
