The hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the port, so a good choice if you're taking a morning ferry to Busan. Simple, clean, cheap enough
The ventilator fan over the hob was quite noisy - it was turned off but kept spinning all night, and seemed to magnify the sounds of passing motorbikes. The hotel isn't particularly central and there's not much around in the way of restaurants. No bedside light, only an overhead one.

The hotel is conveniently located near the conference center. It is a bit far from downtown. The staff are very helpful in explaining the bus system and stops. The room is clean and made up everyday.

Perfect location as we took the ferry from Busan (South Korea), arriving early evening. The hotel manager, Shirai, had been exceptionally responsive to my inquiries before our arrival, and he was just as welcoming and helpful during our stay. We especially appreciated his assistance in helping us to get on the correct bus to the train station the next morning. The hotel was of higher quality than we expected and included amenities such as a washing machine (which would have been extremely useful for an extended stay). It was, of course, very clean, with everything in perfect working order. The breakfast was very good. There was an ample variety of dishes, the coffee was great, and the breakfast room was spacious. All staff were courteous and professional. In all, great value for the money. We would definitely stay again should the need arise.
For a one-night stay, it was fine. We really have no criticisms. Had we stayed longer, I think we would have been quite comfortable.

Only choose this location because it was close to ferry port (to go over to Busan). It is a decent 20+ min walk if you want to go to Yatai areas to eat
the rooms are really outdated, but we only stayed for one night so wasn't much of an issue

That we couldn't get a taxi to the port, it was a bit expensive.

It might be due to Fukuoka not being that of a travel destination yet, as e.g. Osaka is, but the room was surprisingly spacious. I liked the fact that toilet and shower were is separate rooms. it was clean and nicely located to teach Canal city or the Yatai. top!

Room was like a mini apartment. It was more spacious than your average Japanese hotel room and had a decent-sized closet. There was also a microwave in the room.
Around 20 minutes walk to the nearest subway station.

It was close to the harbor and was a very convenient location for taking a ferry. The room was quite big for one person, and it had everything one needed. The staff were very polite and helpful.
There noise from fridge, hood, street and the harbor and if someone is a light sleeper would have a problem. But it was no problem for me.
