The exterior of the hotel looked nice, and the room was spacious, but there was a cigarette smell and the sofa was filthy/stained/grubby. It was too expensive for what it offered, and I would never want to stay here again.

Room and beds were very comfortable and clean. We stayed there last year and was not happy with the dirty carpet in the rooms. Problem was fixed this visit- looks like a carpet replacement had taken place. The Onsen on site is one of the best onsens I've ever visited, great longe area to relax and enjoy complimentary tea after a soak. Staff were amazing- so courteous- great checkin experience. Will book this property again if traveling in the area.
A little noisy early in the mornings- some people really need to learn hotel ettiquette...room above sounded like basketball practice...

The location is in the middle of nowhere no shops around expensive Taxis to get to anywhere.
dinner at the hotel was very expensive
I didn't appreciate that people at the desk didn't speak english, only one person understood me and that was on the last day, I was very unhappy about that.
