Very clean hotel and comfortable bed. Close to the subway and not too far walking from the centre. Fresh towels and waters provided daily.
There wasn’t enough space to leave bags after checkout if you wanted to go explore for the day.

The location of the hotel is really great, just one minute walk from Gion subway station. The cleaning staff are really great, they were very attentive and changed bottle of water and towel, bathrobe everyday.
The breakfast was just a set meal from the restaurant on the ground floor, an external restaurant, not a buffet like other hotels. I stayed at the hotel of this franchise at Hiroshima, which was a buffet, so I presumed it would be the same...so the breakfast turned out to be a disappointment and waste of money, I didn't go to eat my breakfast 2 out 4 days of my stay there:( The laundry room was always full, maybe the hotel could consider add more washer or add another laundry room.

The hotel feels dated and could use a freshen up. Breakfast is a choice from 5 sets, but not very impressive. Little options for drinks.

Location was just a minute walk from Gion station exit 3, with a direct connection to Tenjin station and Fukuoka airport Domestic Terminal (for International Terminal it is a shuttle bus ride further), or a 15-20 mins away by taxi (about ¥2000). Room was a bit dated like many of Japanese hotels but very clean(!) All amenities were present in room or available at the front desk. Room size (18m2) is on the bigger side for Japanese definition and the bathroom size was okay for us but I can imagine it being on the smaller side for others. No Netflix streaming service available but we were able to connect our Prime Video with the tv. Adjacent to the hotel is a Yayoiken restaurant, where they served a decent breakfast till 10am for hotel guests. After 10am it’s open for everyone till 02:30 am. Within a few mins walking from the hotel there are about 2-3 24hrs convenience stores and Canal City is a 10 min walk away. It was the perfect hotel for our stay!
Maybe no Netflix streaming service available but that’s not a deal breaker. Also no gym present for gym enthusiasts like my partner.

Breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable. The hotel was walking distance from a car rental facility and about ten minutes walk underground to shops and the main train station. There are also food shops around the hotel.
