Close to the train station.
Mr Nakatani was extremely RUDE! We stayed in room 1227 from 26 November to 1 December. To watch the television, you have to turn your body 45 degrees as the television was placed to the right side of the bed. We asked Mr Nakatani to change our room when one become available as we are staying for 5 nights. He replied all the rooms have the same layout. As he cannot speak English well, he always use google translate and show me his reply from his mobile phone. I asked if anyone speak English? He replied no. I find it unbelievable nobody at the front desk staff speak English. Over the next few days, we spoke with Mr Ushirokoji, Mr Yudai, Miss Yamamoto and Miss Oyabu in English. We were expressed our concern to Mr Ushirokoji and he kindly arranged 1308 during our second leg stay from 2 to 5 December. Room 1308 has a proper layout. Unfortunately the first person we met at the hotel is Mr Nakatani who gave us a horrible impression of Comfort Hotel.

Manager, Mr Nakatani was awfully RUDE! He could not speak English well and relied on google translate to communicate with us. We stayed from 26 November to 01 December and again from 02 to 05 December. The first room (1227) layout was bad. You need to turn your body 45 degrees to watch the TV. We asked for a different layout room when a chance become available during our stay. He replied all rooms have the same layout. I find it hard to believe and asked if anyone speak English. He said ‘nobody speaks English’. How ridiculous! During the next few days, we spoke with Mr Ushirokoji, Mr Yudai, Miss Yamamoto and Miss Oyabu. All of them speak fluent English! We explained to Mr Ushirokoji who kindly arranged room 1308 for our second time stay. I did not get to meet Mr Nakatani again during the rest of my stay. He definitely is a shame to the hotel.

Some of the staff lacked the level of service-mindedness you would typically expect in Japan. The check-in process felt rushed, and the room itself was outdated. The Wi-Fi connection was unstable, and the self-service amenities for bathing were limited. Beverage options were minimal, and the breakfast selection was small with rather poor taste. Overall, the experience did not justify the high room price. The only good thing about this hotel is its good location right next to Hakata Station. Other than that, it was disappointing and quite overrated.

Just crossroad away from Hakata station. Twin bed is quite big (enough for a mother and a 4-year-old child to sleep together) and the room is quite large.
Hotel appearance looks old. Repetitive few choices of breakfast. Air conditioning cannot be adjusted between heating/cooling, need to open ventilation to let cool air in. Wi-Fi does not work in our room and the hotel staff just said, "It's not hotel problem" and did not attempt to help us at all. How come it's not your hotel problem when the SSID name is ""comforthotel".
