great location, about a 20 minute walk from hakata station. great location with many things around it. transportation is convenient too
the pillows were rough :( , other than that everything else was amazing!

Good breakfast we always had a full stomach after eating. Nice staff.
In our room there are issues with the pipe. Beside the bathtub water is leaking. Wifi in our room is not good I always use my roaming.

Location.
Cramped. The checking in procedure was difficult. Initially through the machine but the system could not take the credit card. Then had to effect it manually.
The staff were not conversant in English. So many trainees and only the manager knew what was going on. The trainees really were not able to handle much.

The room size is fine for one person. Location near the subway, about 5mins. Many restaurants and super markets nearby open 24 hours.
a bit old but still functional. They clean the room every three days. but you can require cleaning only before 9am. The ac is controlled by auto system so it’s a bit hot and dry in the room.

Exceptional
The staff’s kindness goes without saying, and the place is exceptionally clean. I observed that they assess whether guests can speak Japanese or not before interacting with them.
I wish the check-out time could be a bit later. While I can get ready early in the morning, when staying for just one night, it feels like I’m only there to sleep and leave.

Good location and value for money, spacious room, nice dolce gusto machine and coffee provided in the room
Hotel is very old and for some reason full of male guests, lights are insufficient at night, parking is limited to small vehicles only

No corkscrew when I asked to open bottle of wine
I paid almost 30000 yen for a basic room and couldn't supply a basic item !
Worse than that aircon at hotel wasn't working properly and as it was quite warm and as I needed to get up early wanted to get a good night's sleep
The front staff did thankfully provide a fan that helped
Understand hotels in big cities in Japan are way and often outrageously overpriced on weekends so definitely not getting value !

We really enjoyed our stay in Hakata. Next to the hotel there's a local market and the shopping center Canal City Hakata is only a short walk away. Check in and check out was hassle-free, the staff was friendly. The hotelroom was comfortable, clean and decent size. Definitely recommend staying here. I also recommend taking the local train to Ogori to visit Nyorinji Frog Temple, it's such a special shrine.
