Very nice setting. Very nice staff.
The roof in my room needed some rehabilitation. The basket in my bathroom for toilet paper was never emptied. The prices in the restaurant were rather high. The food in the restaurant varied, some were very good and some were rather tasteless.

Beautiful location, nice pool and good scubadiving
The resort could use some renovation, lots of things in the room were broken like the lamp and fridge. You had to ask for new towels and cleaning.

The location to south beach was just over the road. The dive instructor was very good.
Facilities were very basic. No WiFi in the room. The restaurant was expensive with no vegetarian options.

My family and I spent 2 nights in this center during a short visit to Aqaba. The Darna Divers Village is at about 15 minutes from the city center, but is wonderfully located in front of a public beach where you can enjoy the sea and the coral reef. The rooms are pretty basic, but they are ok if you look for a simple place to enjoy the sea. Initially, my wife and I were assigned a room with a sea view, but it was really noisy (it was above the kitchen). When we said we were there to celbrate our 30th wedding anniversary, the manager was so nice to find another (much better) room for us, and we really appreciated it. The diving center is well equiped, and you can rent the snorkeling or even diving equipment, with a guide (if you need one). The external area around the pool is perfect to relax and enjoy the wonderful climate of the region. Breakfast was included in the room cost, and it was ok. We also had a dinner, which we found a bit expensive compared to other restaurants in Aqaba.
If you wake up a bit late, most food for breakfast is already gone. The dinner was a bit expensive and of average quality.

The location is amazing. You can snorkel right out to the coral reefs from the beach in front of the hotel.
The hotel has a laid-back Fawlty Towers feel to it, with erratic service and little general maintenance of facilities.
Having said that, the place is cheap and staff helpful when asked.

The swimming pool is nice. The water is clean and there is lots of comfy lounges to sit on. The property is quite close to the beach. The room was OK, a good size and the bed was comfortable. The Air con was very good. The breakfast was quite good.
The wifi was good around the pool but didn't reach to our room. The property itself is clean, but a bit run down is places, and the staff are slow moving when you request something, although they eventually get it done. We actually came for the snorkeling and while the reef is good, the beach is filthy, covered in cigarette buts, rubbish and stray dogs. It is hard top believe how little respect people seem to have for the natural environment here. This was our biggest disappointment (not the fault of the Darna

Nice swimming pool close to good snorkeling
The room was terrible , dated and needing repair, TV didn't work 3 controls with battery missing, shower didnt work toilet contant noise, person that took me to room didn't even come in to check I was happy. Decor bad. Breakfast was poor , had breakfast included which was 6 dinars when said couldn't make breakfast can I have a 6 dinar meal in day told not possible .
They may have nice rooms but based on my experience was very bad.

Wonderful
Layed back atmosphere, more surfers-lodge than hotel vibes. Very chill about leaving the room a bit later and using the facilities on the day we left.
If youre looking for a resort this is not your place, if youre looking to chill with the relaxed vibe: it definitely is.

The property is located close to the beach. Corals and fish can be seen even without swimming. The rooms are ordinary 3-bed hotel rooms. There is Wi-Fi, but it works only close to the reception. They have a restaurant but we decided to go to the restaurant on the beach where grilled fish was exceptional. Breakfast is okay. They rent snorkeling equipment which can be used close to the hotel.
