The view was wonderful and the kitchen was great.
There was quite a bit of dust in the bedroom, paint was peeling in the bathroom over the sink and there appeared to be mold in the bathroom.

We checked in a little after 10 am. and we were immediately wowed by the physical environment. What a view!!!.
We immediately felt at home. Portland is truly beautiful and I View is the icing on the cake. It was a birthday celebration weekend and we reluctantly left the rustic cottage in search of something to eat. We visited Little Portie and had some of the best seafood in Jamaica. On our way back we stopped in Boston Bay to get jetk chicken, pork and sausage with festival for dinner and lordy lordy the sausage was everything. We had a stove and all the amenities at the cottage but I just wanted to make it easy for the birthday girl. Next time we will cook and there will be a next time by Easter as all our friends want to visit now after seeing the videos and pics we shared of the cottage. They were motivated to have a friends reunion after hearing there are 3 cottages on the property. It will be a blast as we want them to experience the joy and peace we felt staying at I View.
We long to return sooner than later ?

Beautiful views. Sounds of the ocean. Hillside.Lush greenery.
Mosquito netting.
The downstairs that opens up to our upper floor without a door(semi-private). Too many “symbols” in the house. Made us a little uncomfortable at first.

The owner was very friendly, very communicative, and very accommodating, the villa was clean and had all the facilities necessary to have an enjoyable stay,. The view was amazing, we didn't want to leave. Exceptional! We look forward to our next stay here

Very nice place (we rented all 3 rooms) in a really great location with a super-nice view across the ocean during dawn. The kitchen is great and we did some cooking here (necessary utensils were available). All in all a great experience in this relaxing house. Also, the hosts were very nice and helpful (e.g., we forgot a personal item when we left and the host was kind enough to help us out by sending it to a packing station at the airport). Thank you!
Clearly not the owner's fault -but the main road towards Port Antonio (~10km between Long Bay and Boston Beach) is in a rough condition. Hence, it takes some extra time (+ ~15min) to get here, which should be considered for grocery shopping.

The place was great the road getting there was not driving from Kingston was hard there is more pothole on the road than anything I've ever seen in my life

We had all the amenities they described in the ad. the whole property is on a raised elevation with a clear view of sea from the bedroom itself. The most amazing thing we liked about it was that it blended right into the landscape and felt right at home
we liked everything at this place. However Jamaica has powercuts and bad road infrastructure. But we saw they building roads at a faster pace

We really enjoyed waking up in the morning to the sight and sound of the sea. Long Bay beach is five minutes away and great for a long walk on the beach. The place was super clean and the bed was very comfy and you have everything you need there. It's very therapuetic. It was a pleasure to meet Lars.
Only issue was the roadworks going on at the moment which make it take a little longer to reach Port Antonio if you want to go into the town.

The location was excellent. Cabin very clean,and comfortable. Scenery was very beautiful and therapeutic. I love the fact that there is a kitchenette!!!
As a Jamaican, the restaurants are bit pricey.However,the option is there to take food for cooking.

I loved everything about this short trip. Don’t even hesitate when booking from the location to the views and the aesthetic. If you want to wake up to the sound of the waves hunny this is the place. We attended a New Year’s Eve party that was held by the locals and dined at the restaurant in Boston. Top Tier ‼️‼️
It is a bit far from Port Antonio town so if your going to grab cooking items get them there not much shops were open but we visited on New Years Eve so that may have been the reason. I have no bad review for this place.

The view is amazing, lovely balcony with hammock. Everything works well Wi-Fi, tv, hot water shower and cooking facilities. Great books and lovely decor. A short walk from Long Bay which has eating places and a grocery store.
The power went out on the last night of the stay due to heavy rain. We found some water outside for a shower in the morning and kerosene lamp so was part of JA experience for Long Bay residents. Mosquitoes - do bring repellant and buy some coils.
