Went there for a 2 day stay with family to unwind and distress from a funeral...
Ms. Christina the staff person was welcoming and informed us of the places we could visit around Portland and where to find food because meals were not provided at the guest house.
There were also mango trees around that fed us well during our visit... I ate many mangoes.
Over all 7 family members had a good time.
I would go hang out there during mango season again ?. The beds were comfy...
The building needs some upgrades... but the place had a old house charm to it...all was well.
The shower head in my bathroom was broken but we found a work around so good water pressure was obtained.

Wonderful breeze at night through the windows at night! The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Mrs Shirley and her staff were very kind and helpful. Beautiful baranda to have a coffee in the morning and spend some time in the evening. It's just a few blocks away from the shops, the route taxis stand and the bus terminal. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you!

The location was great. Short walk away from the town centre, so there is no need to drive to pick up anything from many local supermarkets. On a clear day, you have a lovely view of the blue mountains.

No breakfasts was included, the kitchen was somewhere downstairs I dont even know
Everything could be better, the room was too small the air conditioning system dont work , wifi dont work the fan on the wall was too noisy the bed give me pain in the back and finally the staircase was rickety make so much noise while climbing it.
