Although it was not a convenient process to pick up the keys, the young lady who handled those duties was very pleasant and helpful with suggestions. The apartment was adequate and the location wasn't bad.
The apartment was fine. It had all the essentials that were needed. However, the pictures of the property on the website didn't match the property that we received. I felt like I didn't get what I bargained for.

Our hostess was so good to us. She helped us get to our apartment from Tronchetta. Venice is not easy to navigate without some previous knowledge of transportation.
The apartment is super cute. It's a real Venetian experience. Our rooms were super clean.

The location was good, in a quiet calle just off Via Garabaldi in Castello. Check in was easy and the apartment was clean enough and a good size. If it had been half the price, I would probably have had a much more favourable impression of it.
My main bugbear is the value for money. For the hefty price charged (around $NZ400 per night in May), you would expect more. It's a dark space, with no views, at the bottom floor of block in a narrow lane. There were no laundry facilities and not even a clothes horse to hang washing on. The internal communal courtyard accessed from the bedroom was very run down and never got any light; it's certainly not a place you'd ever linger in. There was no iron or ironing board, which was pretty inconvenient, considering I was staying for a week. There was also no TV and no dishwasher (although that didn't bother me).

Staff were very friendly and kind, the apartment was very spacious, wifi was strong and the location was very convenient. Close enough to all the major sites but also tucked in a quiet street for a nice balance of peace and convenience

The location is very nice with a canal adjacent for water taxi service and a 5 minute walk to the water bus (vaporetto). st. Mark’s is a 15 minute walk. A dozen or so good restaurants within two blocks.
It’s kitchen and bath is very modern and the unit had two a/c units so it was very comfortable in the warm weather. The owner and staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly. We cooked breakfast every day and there is a supermarket 1 block away.
We had a great time and would stay there again.
No elevator but I understand that the building is old and they would have to destroy some of the building to put in an elevator.

The location ! So much better staying at the apartments rather than some hotels. Originally thought it was a little far away from everything but then that turned out to be the best part. Much more authentic. Loved being across from the church and it was a 10-15 min walk to St Marks. Fit all 5 of us comfortably. No sitting area except for the kitchen or terrace outside. This was fine for us since we weren’t hanging out in the apartment but if you want that, this place doesn’t have it.

Idyllic location. Great spot in a quaint laneway off the main Via Garibaldi in Castello, one of the residential districts.
Walk down the lane way & directly into cafes, fresh fruit stall, & a short 30sec walk to the bakery. Dotted with a number of restaurants, cafe bars, coffee spots, even a take away pizza place and gelateria. Honestly perfect for kids.
Ideal for living away from home, a mini supermarket and pharmacy is less that a minute walk away.
Around the corner from Garibaldi park, were you can stroll down the park to get relief from the humid Venetian summer. And say hello to the family of turtles in the pond.
Two vapporetto (water bus) stops are a 5-10min walk away (Arsenale & Giardini) giving access to the entire city via various vaporetti lines. (1,2,4.1,4.2,5.1,5.2).
Lovely, quiet and safe, but only a 5min ferry ride to the hustle and bustle of Piazza San Marco.
Nice and clean. Clean bathroom and shower, small kitchen.
Unfortunately a family of 6 was a stretch for the accomodation. The two air conditioned bedrooms upstairs were ideal for my 4 kids, but the downstairs living room converted into a third bedroom wasn’t ideal given only a fan to cool down.
No washing machine limited the options for washing clothes. The washing lines pinned between buildings was cool, and in the summer heat dried clothes real quick.

The best thing about the property was it's locatio, 15 min walk from St Mark's Square, next to a Super market
You had no view from the windows, which seem to open out to other neighbours,, so you felt a bit exposed. The cooler was leaking.

open office hours option to collect keys, but self service easily possible at any time with relative ease
no oven! but if you are staying out in venice, you probably want to go try a few nice restaurants and cafes anyway :)

Very clean, we got ground floor apartment. Proper towel and blankets. Decent small size kitchen.
1. Distance between - Keys Collection and Apartment is Issue.
2. They only pickup your phone or reply to your message after 3.30pm.
3. Only 1 small bathroom in 2bed apartment.
4. AC was there but not allowed, as it was May only. But in reality it was too hot in afternoon in last week of the may.
