Very nice hotel, pleasant friendly staff. The hotel has a nice rooftop we took advantage of several times. We also used their express breakfast since we don't usually have a large breakfast.
Not much to complain about.

Good
the staff were friendly and very helpful
I could not understand why they do not provide an iron in the room. After some persuasion, they lent me a steamer which was better than nothing.

Very Good
Comfy bed, fabulous bathroom, great towels. Responsive and not noisy A/C. Great hot water supply.
The lobby is hideous and needs updating to match the rooms. Red velvet and zebra stripes? It's a classy hotel, great location. The breakfast was meh in the roll/toast department. I know Venice is expensive, but it's a bit steep at 70E for two people. I had a hard-boiled egg, a tangerine, and a double espresso.

Very Poor
The experience was extremely disappointing.
At check-in, I clearly explained that I had mistakenly booked two rooms. The staff member reassured me that everything was “okay” and that the extra room had been cancelled/handled, which I trusted.
However, 5 days after leaving the hotel, I was charged for the second room as a “no-show”, without any prior warning or confirmation.
This is very misleading. I relied on what I was told by the staff, yet I was still charged days later.
Additionally, my card was charged without any prior notification after my stay, which raises serious concerns about how my payment details were used.
This raises serious concerns about transparency and trust.
