Having been here before with young children, my husband on a mini break and my parents before this place never disappoints- fantastic personal service, beautiful surrounds, gorgeous pool and spa and such a good helpful team.

Beautiful historic building, very special. Staf is amazing, transportation is great on private water taxis. Get the dedicated private transportation service from the airport, its eorth 280 euro to get to the island from VCE quick snd easy.

Staff were incredible, Emma at the front desk and Federica in the dining hall were so helpful and kind as one example. The room was beautiful and I felt good about our needs being met and the reception at the hotel as top notch.
I wish my room was cooler, I run hot and the AC was still transitioning. The fan in the room as very helpful though

The breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices. The bar is the prettiest I have ever seen! Everyone was very helpful and kind in every area. Rooms were very clean and we loved sitting around the pool for a drink.
The hotel is enormous and had a musty odor.
. We were not there the right time of year to have access to air conditioning so our room was extremely hot even with the windows open since the sun came into our side of the hotel, there wasn't a break until morning for a breeze to come through the window.

Everything! The beautiful grounds were the highlight of our visit. We actually skipped the city for two days to enjoy the parklike grounds and pool area.

The location of the hotel is nice
When I first came to the room, the shampoos were half-done, the next day I left a note to leave shampoo and water, the shampoos were taken from the room and no new ones were put in. They serve champagne in wine glasses at the restaurant, when I went down for breakfast in the morning, there was no staff to say good morning, I poured my own coffee every morning and was not served, there was no smiling staff, I wanted something to snack on at 22:00 in the evening, I was told the kitchen was closed, even though I was a hotel customer, nothing was prepared. When I wanted something elsewhere, they specially got permission from the managers to cook in the kitchen and the chef came and asked if I liked it, I did not see such service here. When I checked the expense receipts when I was leaving the hotel, I saw that someone else's receipt that did not belong to me was added to my bill, a mistake was made, attention should be paid

The staff was very kind, we were upgraded which was lovely and they were super helpful when we asked them for assistance booking activities and restaurants.
There weren't too many options for Vegan's at the breakfast so I was a bit limited. Otherwise it was very nice, and my partner (who isn't vegan) had a lot of choice.

Upgrade and beautiful setting
Service was appalling for a 6 star property with inability to contact Reception and Housekeeping for hours and then when attended Reception nO fix to the issue requiring another visit.Outdoor eating area had bees hovering over the Table and the reply was " We have bees" Service in the San Clemente bar poor as seeking booking .com complementary process and glasses left on the bar for us to collect.Tried to speak to a Duty Manager at 7.00pm on 11/9 and told all busy.Not a standard to be expected of such a high price!
