The only thing good about this property was the location.
I honestly don’t know how this hotel has 4 stars. This by far is the dirtiest hotel (looks like a motel) I have stayed in. From the rude staff to the outdated hallways and DISGUSTING room, I wish I could give it a ZERO. We were told that we have an updated room and we walked in and were in shock. It was dirty, unfinished, dark and worse than a motel . The fridge was filthy, curtain and blanket dirty, walls dirty, hallway old and walls are thin that you hear EVERYTHING.

The location is perfect only 100 meters from St Mark’s Square.
I also liked that they starch and iron the bedding. I experienced that amazing almost forgotten crunchy sensation when I laid down into bed.
Flat and stone-like pillow that gave headaches every morning.
The second thing I did not like that the room was very tight and crowded with furniture. There was only one uncomfortable chair to sit for two people. The second person has to lay down or go to the lobby if one wants to read for example. The light in the room was very dim which made reading impossible.
The staff was quite cold and unapproachable.

Great location that’s about it. Spacious bathroom though
AC was terrible. It was as if there was none. Bed was slanted (sofa bed) and you’d slide off so I had no sleep. Sheets were dusty so we let sneezing. And except for one lady concierge, the rest were not friendly nor accommodating. Overall wasn’t happy

This is not a 4 star hotel. It was pound from the staff, dirty in general and the bathroom full of mold. Looks like they started to renovate the bathroom and then changed their mind. Refused to put me in the room I paid for and then proceeded to tell me since I was a solo travel there was nothing they were going to do.

For me the location was nice but for 80 yr olds it’s a bit far from the water docks where you catch the taxis.
How we were charged for the water in the fridge when it was supposed to be complimentary. It’s bad enough you have to pay for everything extra. They should have water available in the kitchen not just for breakfast. Some of the staff weren’t very pleasant at the front desk unless they are really like that.

Included breakfast was very nice. Our room was huge. Had averything we needed. Location is less than 100 meters from San Marco Square. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Booked water taxis for us.
"Complimentary" tour of Murano was high pressure. When we didn't buy anything we were not returned to our starting location. Rather we were dropped off on the North side of the island on the other side of the hospital.

Location is the best. Great breakfast and elegant lobby area. Very historic.
Need to upgrade rooms. Desperately needs new shower glass doors instead of curtains, new closets, new mattress, new blow dryer. Modernization will increase market share.

A very nice hotel in the center of Venice. The service was excellent. The room was cleaned every day, which made the stay even more comfortable. Very good value for the price. Highly recommended
As for the breakfast, It would be nice to have more variety, as it was the same every day, although everything was delicious.
