Accessible by water taxi.
This property is tucked away down a series of alleys with no shops or restaurants, and the hotel itself has no areas to sit and relax and look out at Venice. We paid for a premium room with a partial view and the room was very basic, and ground floor so the curtains had to remain closed. We had to put the coffee maker on the floor to use it. It was not a premium experience.

The front desk staff were so helpful and courteous. On the second day after walking a lot, it was great to have a quiet dinner on the back deck. Delightful. Great to have the water bus and taxi right out our front door.
I liked everything but the front lobby was less impressive for the quality of hotel. For some reason, it did not invite leisure visits.

Welcome Prosecco well appreciated! Loved watching boats go past right out the lobby door!! We were so pleased with our beautiful, well outfitted room choice, a Canal View & having our own balcony. We were out there the entire stay!! Also loved the roofdeck for sunset & a martini! Breakfast consisted of plenty savory items as well as cooked eggs & sweets. Impressed with individual, bottled fresh juice choices. Very happy with the overall stay! Definitely recommend!

Perfect location, if you need a water taxi or waterboat, or if you like to walk in Venice. The staff are super kind and professional. The hotel has its own backyard with a Cafe and a rooftop. Rooms are big, modern and bright.
The rooftop works only from 5:30 pm to 8 pm but I think there are reasons for that.

We took the junior suite and the view from the balcony was amazing. I dont know why they dont have "balcony" selected in booking.com. Room was very big, access was great from the ferrybus stop right in front and we did not find that loud at all as has been stated here. Breakfast was OK for Venice. It has no restaurant. We stayed for 1 night and staff gave us very good itineary at check in of what to do in what order. There was a bathtub in the room which was great and romantic. For junior suite with this price with this view - Im saying good value. The pictures on booking dont give good credit to that room its better than on the pics.
I dont know really. Maybe bathroom is just a small bit tired but usual as it seems to be refurbished bit less than 10 years ago. But basically im pushing to find something that could be improved. But for us the view and balcony made our stay. So still exxxellent.

The hotel and amenities are absolutely gorgeous! Everything felt elegant and thoughtfully designed. The staff was attentive and wonderful, making our stay truly enjoyable. Just one small heads-up: at check-in, they may hold your room a little longer than necessary, encouraging you to relax, eat, and enjoy a drink at the restaurant before handing over the room key. After a long international flight, you might just want to rest in your room first. Still, it was a lovely experience overall!

Super nice staff. Location next to Grand Canal with water bus stop just outside the hotel. 10 minutes walking distance from San Marco - close enough, but away from the crowds. Very comfy room. 2 sinks in the bathroom. Really quiet at night.

This was an amazing location, it was in a quiet area however it was close enough to the bridge and other main attractions. The service was immaculate, we had the most amazing room that they gave us an upgrade overlooking the canal. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The Palazzo Barocci is perfectly situated on the grand canal right next to a vaporetto stop. Even with this convenience, the hotel is located in a quiet quaint neighbor and famous sites are within walking distance. We especially enjoy the inner courtyard and the excellent table service. An opportunity to enjoy the rooftop terrace was special with good cocktails and great views. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast options (including scrambled eggs) and our room was comfortable. Our stay was lovely.
