The location of this hotel was close to St.Marks Square, that was the only positive
Room was tiny, bed uncomfortable, we received several mosquito bites, were not provided with directions on how to get into the building. When staff were there in the morning they were not very friendly. Had booked for two nights, thought of leaving after one but paid way more than we should have for this hotel so decided to tolerate it one more night.

The lication was central
The stairs were terrible, and the handrails were broken and unsafe. The bathroom was away from the room outside the room when it says external i thought that it was not in the same room as the bed. You have to walk into a central area where other guest are to go to your bathroom. It was not clean. There were stains in the tub and on the floor. It was very loud you can hear everyone in the other rooms. It is VERY old and not what I saw in the photos. The bed is 2 twin beds pushed together and not a solid mattress so the center was very uncomfortable.

The location is excellent - 3 minutes walk from the famous San Marco square - and the terrace at the top is rather panoramic.
The room has a rather persistent and unpleasant smell of sewage, it didn't seem to come from the bathroom. It's true that the building itself is old and Venice maintenance is challenging but it gave a feeling of unhealthy environment for an hotel room where to spend the night. All rooms face the main corridors with very thin doors and walls so any noise made in any room can be heard by the others, also rather uncomfortable for both privacy and good sleep.

It was a good place to stay at nothing fancy but nothing terrible or bad. They have a nice terrace and the coffee is good!! Definitely my favorite part. The customer service was good too.
The stairs after walking so much was not fun but that’s just a personal thing.

A nice hidden gem right in the centre of Venice — you step outside and you’re immediately in the heart of everything. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with fresh towels, and a simple, practical layout.
The check-in procedure is clear and easy to follow, with no gimmicks. Good value for the price, free Wi-Fi, a nice terrace, and a pleasant breakfast area with a coffee machine offering several coffee options.
One thing to keep in mind: some rooms share a separate bathroom, but it locks securely, so privacy isn’t an issue. You may want a robe or slippers. Also, there are stairs to climb, so if you have heavy luggage or mobility limitations it could be challenging. If you travel light and don’t mind steps, it’s absolutely fine.
It’s not that I didn’t like it but more of a recommendation to guests. Bring a robe and slippers

We came in late so we had to do self check-in but the process was straightforward and explained well.
The location is fantastic, right near Piazza San Marco. That area is just so fun to walk around and get lost into. We were close to so many interesting spots, close enough to quickly come pick up a jacket before dinner but far enough for it to be quiet at night.
The room itself was really great. It had a fantastic unique and really fun sexy inspiring atmosphere. The walls were covered in fabric which seemed to help make the room soundproof, and helped make for a nice muffled ambiance. The lightling was warm. The style they chose can easily feel cheap or tacky but that wasn't the case at all, the furniture was authentic and the decoration was tasteful. It was impeccably clean. So was the bathroom. The room had a large window with some thick opaque curtains if you wanted to keep it dark. The bed was actually two twin beds together and not a double bed, which we preferred because two twin beds is larger than a double. The bed was very clean and comfortable and stable, no squeaks. There was a futon which we didn't use as a bed so we can't comment on that but it was quite nice as a couch. There was tea and a kettle provided but nothing to make coffee (there are millions of excellent coffee places right dowstairs though).
It was a little difficult finding the address but that wasn't really the hotel's fault, just how Venice is designed. (Also it seems google maps sometimes goes into "low accuracy" mode in Venice, where the map itself is still accurate but the gps signal that tells you where you are can be faulty, so keep that in mind.)
The street the door was on was a little dark and difficult to find, and the door shared other businesses (a law firm I think) so it would have been nice to have some kind of a heads-up in that regard. The entrance is a tad spooky if you get there at night, we didn't mind it but it was definitely unusual. Once you reach the third floor it's perfectly fine though, like a nice hotel. The staff leaves early, and the whole hotel floor is empty for the rest of the day. I usually do like a front desk that's open late but that room at that location at that price was absolutely worth that compromise. The bathroom was nicely renovated but the water pressure in the shower wasn't great. But hey it's a centuries-old building, it's good enough that there was hot water at all.

Great spot, comfortable stay and well worth the money!
Don’t leave the bathroom window open - we were eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes in our sleep the last night. 30+ bites per person and I woke up at 6 am to kill 11 (I couldn’t catch them all)

The location is very convenient.
Very old and I hated the fact that the bathroom is not in the suite. You have to walk outside for the bathroom and taking shower. The doors are super old and you can hear other guest slam the door all the time…..not very good for light sleepers. The front staff were very nice and super friendly though. You can leave your luggage at the reception which is very convenient.

The wallpaper in the room was fun and the staff was very kind.
The entryway was in a very strange place that was dark and dingy. The rooms were acceptable but the beds were hard. The shower attachment broke during use. Most disappointing of all the free coffee wasn’t available until 8:30 am.
