Hospitality A++ in a peaceful oasis that was surprisingly 10 min drive to VCE. Tiny room that suited us perfectly for one night before a 6am flight. All very clean & great value. Excellent trattoria on site (see dinner pics) and offered a breakfast of water bottles, coffee, amazing sweet breads and fresh to squeeze oranges.
Very minor: Larger signage at the entrance gate and a light would have helped us since it’s so dark so early.

We had a wonderful time dining and staying here on our last night before flying home. The owners are a young family, and have put a ton of energy and love into making this tradition trattoria really special. The location is very scenic - we saw lots of locals enjoying a walk or bike along the country roads. The food was stellar! And the bed was comfortable and cozy. The hosts helped us arrange a taxi to get to our morning flight (taxi was 25 euro) and were helpful. Would happily stay here again when flying through Venice.

What didn’t we like?! The Trattoria was a bonus and absolutely delicious. Without a doubt, the best meal I had in Italy. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. This location is conveniently located close to the airport.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We wish we had had more time to spend there.

We loved this beautiful and peaceful location, set among vineyards and fruit trees, and with a gorgeous flock of chickens!. Dario was so kind welcoming, and helpful, making sure we had excellent local dining options and helping us order a very early-morning cab to the airport. The linens were very nice and the bed so comfortable. Wish we could have stayed for breakfast-it looked delicious! We will be back for a longer stay!

Dario and Claudia are such welcoming hosts. The quiet countryside setting is such a lovely contrast to the noisy, crowded Santa Lucia Train Station in Venice! We loved the cozy features of our room and
the rural scene outside the windows.
The dinner Dario prepared was the best dining experience of our 2 week visit to the Venito region. He is a great chef! Everything served was super delicious and offered at a very fair price.

Rural property with character. Owner/chef is very cordial. Mainly a popular local restaurant with a few basic rooms above. Good for one night before a flight with dinner.
We actually had a very early morning flight with 3:45a wake-up call so didn’t get to enjoy the restaurant which was a shame. It sounded lively.

Super helpful staff, literally the nicest humans. The place is adorable and I loved every minute of staying there. They even had breakfast treats in the AM when we had to leave at 5am!! The trattoria was closed that night but he got us a reservation at an amazing local restaurant!! Great end to our trip

We loved our one-night stay at Locanda al Convento before leaving early the next morning for the airport, which was only a 10-minute drive away. When we arrived in the late afternoon, a young man was already there to greet us and explained everything very clearly and professionally. Since the restaurant opened later in the evening, he recommended the park walking trails just down the road, which we thoroughly enjoyed after several hours in the car. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the young lady who served us also helped us select a very good wine from the region. The fresh bakery items available the next morning as we left for the airport were also a very nice touch.

We booked this room just as a place to stay near the airport for the night before we left to travel back home. I wish we had more time to stay! We were welcomed by Claudia with drinks as she showed us our room for the night. The place is right above their Trattoria and we enjoyed a beautiful and delicious dinner. Dario was so welcoming and made sure that our meal was perfect!!! One of the best meals we had during our trip. The coffee waiting for us in the morning was so appreciated. With only a 10 minute drive to the Venice airport, we didn't feel stressed or rushed at all. Amazing and beautiful place to stay and such a great value!
Wish we could have stayed here longer!

Fantastic family owned hotel attached to farm to table type resturant. We have 4 kids aged 11-17 and all enjoyed it. Air conditioning worked like a dream! A perfect place to stay before or after arriving from a flight if you willl be renting a car - only 10 min easy drive with little traffic. Good base to not have to stay in proper Venice. Highly recommend!
