We were downgraded! First time in history to hear about this. Worst Hyatt I have stayed in my life! I can't believe they are a part of Hyatt group. The room facilities had daily house keeping clearly written but the hotel says it's once in 3 days! Don't pay for breakfast, it's not worth! Instead, the restaurant at the entrance of the hotel has much better food, go pay and eat there, cheaper and much better. The rooms were so dated and old. Rooms facilities written air conditioning but it's a lie. It's temperature controlled, there is no wind noise. The hotel gave us a fan to use instead. Room we booked was a suite with canal view. Instead we got a brick wall view!

This hotel is fantastic. It's located perfectly with the water taxi right in front of the hotel. The best of glass blowing demonstrations is just a couple minutes walk over the bridge. There are wonderful restaurants located within walking distance across from a historic church. The scenery is magical. Rooms are clean, updated, and quiet. The beds are comfortable. The spa is not in working order. Don't go to the glass blowing demonstration in the front of the island. The Hyatt says to use their name to get in and wave the charges. They don't wave the entrance fee.

Lovely hotel and outdoor restaurant, right at a vaporetto stop so very convenient for bring in luggage. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Turns out that all of Murano is pretty quiet after about 5:00 PM, when day-trippers from Venice go back and the sidewalks are rolled up. That aside, the hotel staff, and especially the concierge, was helpful. The crew at the outside restaurant (Riva Longa) were all terrific as well, and they taught me about several variations on the spritz cocktail. That restaurant was one of the few places that remained open into the evening, so we enjoyed a couple of excellent meals there. Both hotel and Riva Longa are highly recommended!
Unfortunately, the indoor restaurant (Osteriva) was closed while we were there.

We have stayed here on a few previous occasions and prefer its quiet atmosphere in the evenings compared to the main island of Venice. The location is right by a vaporetto stop and the hotel restaurant is quite good, with several other places to eat nearby.
There is a septic smell in the 2nd floor hallway, which we have noticed in other European cities. Fortunately, it doesn’t permeate the rooms.
The only real disappointment is that there is now a charge for transportation to/from airport. Had we known no differently, we wouldn’t have been disappointed, but since we last visited, this was a change along with a substantial increase in room rate.

The breakfast was excellent and the location was really good. The staff answered my question about how to get to the boat from the airport very clearly, but I didn't understand how to get from the airport boat to the other boat that stops near the hotel. I also really appreciated the 12:00 noon checkout time.
The room was pretty expensive, and it was a hassle getting there from the other end of the island where the airport ferry docks. I picked the hotel because I read that the boat comes right in front of the hotel, but didn't understand how to get that boat.
