Very large room with everything you would need. Quiet area but just go down a little alleyway and you find lots of shops and restaurants. St Marks square a 10 min walk. Vaporetto a 10 min walk.
Before we got there I was asked by email what time we would be there. I estimated my time. We were delayed due to transportation by 2 hours. When we arrived, after a long travel day, there was no one to be found. I texted and called to tell her we had arrived and there was no answer. There was another number in the door, so we called that. The woman on the phone finally reached the woman that I had been exchanging texts with. She then told us how to enter. It took us probably 20 min after arriving at the door to finally get into our room. Not impressed. She should have texted me when she had to leave and sent me the instructions to enter our room.
Next morning, she wasn’t in by the time we had to leave, so very pleasant and accommodating cleaning people, took our tourist fee and even accompanied us to the vaporetto. They were lovely.

The room was beautiful! Bright, charming, and a wonderful start to our trip through Italy. We loved the proximity to St Mark’s Square. Check in was very smooth and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Gina was very accommodating and it is clear she cares for the guests. We will be recommending!

La Locandiera was our favorite hotel of the four we stayed at in Italy. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and well equipped (safe, refrigerator, etc). The staff were an absolute joy. And the location is excellent.
There are no on-site food options (even coffee) but it was worth it, and there are plenty of cafes around the corner for that.

The location of the property was outstanding. Very close to Saint Marks Square. And the management met us there on our first day. She was very pleasant.
We did walk a lot when we were there for our stay. Not much time for television, but the TV stations were not English. But to be expected. Also, on the last day, we couldn’t use the elevator to bring our luggage down.
