The Relais Scandinavia was a charming hotel located in an excellent location. The staff was professional and accommodating. I would stay at the hotel again.

Loved the location and the decor of the property.
There was a lot of mosquitoes in and gnats in the room. We couldn’t even open our balcony doors because we were afraid of letting more in so we kept them closed during our stay but bugs kept getting in somehow. And the room was very small. We couldn’t open up our luggage anywhere besides on the bed.

The location was decent, and the staff were absolutely great—very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and definitely a highlight.
The room was quite small, and the beds (and pillows) were uncomfortable (very hard). Unfortunately, the bathroom had a significant leak, which we reported, but it wasn’t addressed during our 3-night stay. The view from the room was also disappointing. Overall, the stay felt a bit overpriced considering the issues we experienced.

Overall, our experience was great. We did encounter a few minor issues — for instance, someone was smoking in the building, and when we opened the window to air out the room, we discovered a piece of underwear left in the shutters. However, the staff responded quickly and professionally to our concerns, which we truly appreciated.
Breakfast was wonderful, and the view along with the peaceful atmosphere of the piazza where the property is located was definitely a highlight of our stay.

LOVED the location. Took a private boat to hotel from train station ($110 total for 7 people). Great location in a less touristy area with tons of shopping and restaurants around us. Hotel staff was amazing!

Location was perfect, after all the noise quiet down, there was a saxo player in the plaza, we enjoyed his music and even danced with his songs.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is one next door. The hotel provides tables outside, and can lend you glasses to enjoy your wine.
Staff was super friendly and gave us directions, but we still got lost.. part of being in Venice
