Customer control of air conditioning, because there was none, we stayed in many hotels of same age and they had the units that go into the wall, not windows, so this could be done, without ruining the historical hotel!

Elegant and well appointed hotel and spacious room on two levels with comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Bar prices not unexpectedly expensive. Excellent location. Would happily go there again.
Room was very warm at times. Air conditioning controlled by staff and had to ask for temperature to be reduced twice but still too warm for us especially as could not open window.

There is a restaurant on site that was,quite frankly as good as any we experienced in town! I’d like to call out Paulo Trevisson, who was one of the main managers and wore a lot of hats. Personable and charming, he embodied the spirit of palazzo stern as much as anything there!
P.s. this place has an amazing chapel on premise and the decor was more beautiful than the pictures give credit to! I would recommend the palazzo stern to anyone without hesitation!
I could have booked my whole damn vacation there…live and learn
