The hotel location is perfect, the staff is amazing and friendly, breakfast is delicious, and the hotel vibe is incredible. We had an excellent time, and D' Orologio was the best place to stay for our first trip to Venice. As a bonus, we found that the water taxi from the airport dropped us directly at the door to the hotel - something we didn't appreciate until we saw many people dragging their luggage through the narrow streets and bridges of Venice.
Shower drainage could have been a bit better, and the mattress was a tough stiff, but still comfortable enough. Really, very minor issues for a hotel in a historic building, certainly acceptable, and we've stayed in far worse for higher costs.

Location is amazing, easy to reach. Room was spacious and beds were very comofrtable. Breakfast was decent.
Lightning could be a bit better and the A/C was not working (didn't react to change of temperature).

Location was great. Our suite was spacious and very clean with lots of room for clothes and luggage. Separate spaces to hang out and the bathroom had a great tub and double sinks - plenty of room.
The lighting in the bathroom was too dim for me.

We loved our stay here. Perfect location; close enough to the Realto Bridge but not in the most dense touristy areas. Water access. Breakfast every morning was excellent. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Good showers. Excellent service by everyone we encountered working at the hotel. They also arranged water taxis whenever we needed. Would highly recommend this hotel!

A beautiful property that is just outside the major tourist areas, it is on the Grand Canal with a vaporetto stop nearby. The bar is frequented by the hotel clients, given there are few, maybe no passers-by. There are a few tables in front, on the canal — it is just you and the canal. The bar waiter suggested an excellent restaurant not too far away.
The room card seldom opened the room door. The room refrigerator made a loud noise so we had to unplug it. The light switches in the room are very strange, the luggage person didn’t explain them. They need to be demonstrated.
