Location was good, room was large as we had booked a canal facing room.
The staff (esp breakfast staff) was downright rude, cold and extremely unfriendly - for e.g. when we would go to get our morning tea from the common area (as instructed during check-in as rooms dont have a kettle despite being large), we had to deal with extremely rude behaviour from the breakfast staff on almost all days till we stopped going entirely. Totally unexpected from a well rated hotel like this and very very disappointing given our fabulous experiences with hotels in Rome, Florence and Como. Service staff was a complete let down and apart from this, lack of kettles in rooms, tiny shower space and erratic AC ( would stop working completely in the nights), made this stay very disappointing.

Our stay at Hotel DellOpera was fantastic! The location is superb, close to the citys main attractions and right by the canals. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic charm. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Amsterdam!

Really handy location, easy walking everywhere or close to water buses etc. right in the heart of the St Marks district, next to the beautiful opera house, but on a quieter side street/canal. Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely large rooms and free refreshments left out for the guests

Furnishing of classical style very nicely fits the room and atmosphere. Good location. Large room.

The hotel was in a perfect location central to everything and close by to many restaurants! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Cant think of anything. Maybe the addition of a clothing iron in the room would be good but not necessary!
