The staff was absolutely wonderful as were the breakfast staff. The room and hotel was very clean and anything we needed assitance with including a porter the staff happily assisted with making the trip easier after my partner hurt his hand.
The room was a little dated, and the bathroom lacked any counter space for makeup, more than a toothbrush. There was no mirror in the main bedroom so since you were unable to plug in a curling iron in the bathroom I had to use a makeup compact and kneel on the floor. The front desk did not have a solution.

First of all, everything was not just good but perfect! I didn’t expect our room to be so amazing and spacious, especially with a canal view. The price for such a large room was unbelievably reasonable. Everything met or I can even say exceeded our expectations.
The breakfast was also good (with a few choices), but it could be improved. The location was right in the city centre, which I really liked.
Personally, I didn’t experience anything that bothered me at all. However, there is just one small thing I’d like to mention, even though it’s not very important: the TV in our room was not a smart TV. It only had local channels, with no YouTube or Netflix available.

Lara, at the desk, gave us a fantastic service She was extremely helpful and patient with us The gentleman with spectacles at the desk and the porter gave us also excellent service We appreciated the porter's help a great deal. We had a wonderful stay in Venice
We experienced problems with Google Maps.

I guess you need to allow for smaller rooms when in Venice

The room was big and comfortable.
The TV has no feature to connect to the internet and for our room there was a problem at washbasin. The breakfast is normal not great as I saw in the comments before going.

It was a quaint very old hotel. The staff was exceptional in assisting us Americans with all our questions and arranged a water taxi for our departure and also a breakfast bag to go, as we had a very early flight back to the U.S. Unexpected was the very nice breakfast buffet the morning that were were able to partake. Marko and Alexandre? were very, very polite and helpful, Convenient restaurants were located nearby. Great stay!
Lots of stairs! Because we extended a 12 day cruise, we had large luggage! But we survived!
