This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. The location is perfect. It's a short walk to the main attractions, but out of the way so it feels a bit quieter. It's lovely to step out and see the huge open canal in the morning.
The staff are all fantastic and friendly. We were upgraded to a superior room with a gorgeous view. Our room was very comfortable for our 3 night stay. The only problem was that it got quite hot at night, but we still managed to get a good sleep.
Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Not the biggest selection, but definitely enough for us to get a good start to the day.
The lady on reception was very knowledgeable about the times of boats etc.
I would highly recommend this hotel and we'll definitely stay again.
The room got hot at times, but we were able to open the window to let cool air in.

Quieter and rather small location in the East. Close to Sea Promenade. Room lovely in Venice style decorated.
Terrasse on the roof. Breakfast ok but minimalistic. WiFi ok.
We parked at Fusina, took the ferry to Zattere, and walked to the Hotel around 40 minutes.
Very soft matrass. Tiny WC. Only italian TV.

The location of the hotel is good and within an easy distance from many attractions.
The staff changed my room reservation from 17sqm room to a dark corner accommodation up to 10 sqm without mentioning it neither at the reception nor while checking in. It took me a lot of effort to get the room changed for the second night. While making reservation the confirmation should be checked carefully, a double room may be with one bed up to 150 sm, placed by the wall with a little slot to let way to the tiny bathroom. This type of the room is not advertised online, but considered to be a double room and you may get it instead of the one you think you choose while making a reservation. The hotel will refuse to change the room if you get inside and decide to look around or wash your hands after a long travel claiming that you have already used their property.

Great location and friendly staff. The room and bathroom were clean enough, but could have been better.
The breakfast was not sufficient. The pillows were too thin, and there was only a thin blanket instead of a duvet. The lack of room slippers was disappointing. Also, there weren't enough power outlets, and they were far from the bed.

We had a lovely stay at Ca' Formenta. Our room was upgraded because we had asked for a crib and had been given instead an extra bed and a room with a view.
Nice breakfast: not a big selection, but will fuel you up for the day.
Would definitely recommend, especially if you have young kids; it is relatively easy to move around, especially with a stroller, since there are not so many canals around.

The hotel is in our favourite location in Venice, Castello, it is perfectly placed for the vaporetta and alilaguna stops. Nearby there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The location is perfect for visiting St Mark’s Square, only a 10 - 15 minute walk yet not as overcrowded and busy. I have limited mobility so the ramps alongside the bridges make it easier.
The hotel itself was charming; always a friendly face at Reception to help and advise. Our room was warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable.and extra pillows are available if you need them. The shower was powerful and there were always fresh, soft towels on the heated towel rail.
Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice.
Everything was great.
