Our experience at Hotel Bel Sito was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in that warm Venetian charm that you can’t quite put into words.
The location is simply breathtaking—nestled beside the beautiful Santa Maria del Giglio church and only steps away from Venice’s most iconic sights. We stepped outside and immediately felt part of the city’s heartbeat. Everything felt close, easy, and wonderfully alive.
But what truly set this hotel apart was the staff. Their kindness, smiles, and the genuine care they showed made us feel very welcome.
The architecture and atmosphere of the hotel are stunning—classic Venetian details, cozy and elegant rooms, and an authenticity that makes you feel like you're living inside a little piece of history. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave.

First room wasn't good, with a musty smell, we asked to change and they were happy to do it. we really like the new room.

The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from St. Mark's Square and other attractions in Venice. The water taxi station is only 60 meters from the hotel. The hotel itself is a beautiful Venetian establishment. Our room was lovely, and the hotel staff was wonderful—very helpful, attentive, and accommodating. They served a fantastic European breakfast, which was the best I have had so far. The waiter personally prepared the most delightful coffee, and we loved our morning cappuccinos topped with a heart. We received excellent service from the front desk and concierge staff during our stay.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Venice, and I will definitely choose to stay there again.

We liked everything. We have spent four nights in the hotel, the whole time was amazing. I'd highlight the breakfast, which was not the usual hotel breakfast, much better with great coffee. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The room was tiny as usually in this kind of buildings, decorated beautifully. The hotel is at a so central location that whenever we walked to one thing to an other we passed by it. Piazza San Marco is just a few minutes walk, also the line 1 vaporetto stop, plenty of restaurants nearby and a beautiful temple just across the street - our window was actually opening to it - what a view.
There is absolutely nothing I would mention as negative.

Location is perfect. Water taxi comes right tothe hotel. Service staff abd reception were excellent, pleasant and friendly. Room is a little dated and small. Not enough electrical outlets. Breakfast, while plentiful, is avearage.
Electrical outlets are not convenient.

The location was very central yet in a quiet piazza and easy to get to from the vaporetto (especially while pulling luggage!). The breakfast was very nice (excellent cappuccino!) and the front desk, servers, and housekeeping staff were all wonderful.

When we checked in it was fairly late, and we were told there was complimentary breakfast offered in the morning. When we checked out a few days later we were charged another $170 for 3 breakfast days and taxes.

The staff was wonderful. Gentlemen who handles the breakfast, and also with our bags was always smiling and extremely helpful, as well as the front desk. The location was perfect within walking distance to Doge Museum, Rialto bridge, water taxi, restaurants, and a few plazas. The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh juice and fruits, cheeses, eggs, bacon, eggplant, meatballs. you name. Cappuccino with a little heart on top. Everyone is constantly cleaning not just your room, but everywhere. Highly recommend this hotel. It was our first visit to Venice and Italy, and this was a wonderful experice.
