Absolutely perfect location for touring San Marco and Dorsodoro. Very quick and easy arrival from the ferry stop. Beautifully situated on the square facing the church. I requested a balcony and was delighted that we were given the room with a balcony overlooking the church. The room was small, but with elegant decor and plenty of light. Excellent breakfast.

The location was superb with literally a 3 minute walk to either one of the main ferry stops or private water taxi stops which the hotel had direct access to. Seconds from designer and up market artisan stores and traditional restaurants. For myself a barely 5 minute walk to St Mark's Square. My room was comfortable, clean and a wonderful outlook over an historical church and old town surrounds. Lots of natural light and sunshine.. windows you can open and shutters you can close as required. The hotel's old world charm and comfort is enhanced even further by its wonderful staff. From the front of house reception staff, the breakfast staff and the maids, all were without exception wonderful. Polite, respectful, helpful and ready to assist as required.

Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom extremely small. Bedding and decorations were threadbare.

Very comfortable bed, authentic feeling hotel, staff were extremely professional and friendly. Very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The location was amazing. Very peaceful at night.
The bathroom was very modern but small and the shower leaked. Breakfast was just ok.

We were welcomed very well from the moment we entered the hotel. the rooms are very clean and the location is perfect. They celebrated my birthday as a surprise at breakfast and I was very happy. When I went to the room, I saw that they left the coffee I liked as a birthday gift. We are grateful for helping us have a very nice holiday.

The staff is great, always smiling and helpful. The hotel is very quiet, we were delighted to have a lovely private terrace (tip: you can bring Spritz from the bar). The breakfast is very nice too. The location is absolutely spot on to enjoy the city center and accessible directly with a public boat transportation from the airport (50m walk).
Charming, typical or old fashioned is the question you may debate about the decoration in the room.

We were disappointed with our stay at Bel Sito. The service and quality did not align with the photos and reviews we saw online. * The hotel rooms condition was not at a reasonable standard or as pictured. * Dark spots across the furnishings, cracks, mould and damp in the room. * We found someones hair in the bathroom. * The breakfast area is also surrounded by mirrors which are covered in dark spots. * The heater did not work. * The bedding was thin * The breakfast was cold every day. When I spoke to Bel Sitos staff, they said it was my fault for not coming down at 6am. During check-in, staff said that breakfast was until 10am. Food should have been hot until 10am. I asked the staff member to reheat the food, which they did not do properly. My partner and I were sick for weeks with serious cold, flu and abdominal pain because of Bel Sitos breakfast, faulty heating and thin bedding. We would not recommend Hotel Bel Sito. We paid a lot for our hotel room and were surprised that Hotel Bel Sito fell below standards.
