It is extremely hard to find with no directions on site. Booking.com charged us for every hotel we booked nearly 50% more than other sites. Travelers beware. I will never book with booking.com from now on.
The price. A grp 9f people booked 2 rooms next to us and paid half the price we paid through booking.com

Davide was very responsive. The location was good - close to the train station and felt pretty safe. The breakfast was great and the lady that served breakfast was really nice. Davides mum gave us some useful pointers on how and where to see the city.
Trying to find Hotel Al Malcanton on Google maps took us around in circles for a while until we contacted Davide. Itd be helpful if guests got the location thats more accurate before they arrive.

Tips about the city and all the information provided helping us get around. The breakfast with a perfect apple cake was great and the friendly staff which you almost don't even see ,which is a plus ,was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and had a renewed bathroom.
The mattress should be changed. We had some difficult time sleeping due to some springs sticking out around the edges and towards the center.

We upgraded to a larger room on the second floor in the annex. I was pleasantly surprised to find we had a balcony and a partial canal view. The staff, Luciana and Maria, were very kind and helpful during our entire stay.
Breakfast could have been better, we did not eat there.

Location was ok. Not on the water, but close to the action. Nice accessible bathroom.
The mattress felt like rolled up towels under the sheet and the room cost twice as much to get an accessible space.

The breakfast was great - lots to choose from, but mostly breads and such. Not a whole lot of vegan options, but still okay. The room was a bit outdated, but if you are looking for something that sets the Italian ambiance, this might be okay. The bed was alright, could really use some more/better pillows as the 2 they supplied were very flat. Easy check-in and out, and they were able to hold our luggage for a few hours before we left the city.
